I can't believe it! A Bob's Big Boy just recently opened in my area and I'm so excited. Great memories at !!!!! I'm not a big fan of the new location and the size of the business. The new Bob's Big Boy sits in the middle of a strip mall with other small businesses. There seems to be plenty of parking including handicapped ♿️ The second week open and I'm still looking for a parking spot. Finally and now let's go in and look around. OMG! Not a single table is open and the customers are chattering uncontrollably. Mostly I can hear about the food and service of the new business. While I'm waiting, I just love the open concept and high ceiling and all the stencils and artwork that line the walls. So many colors but what stands out the most is the red decor, even in the bathroom. 🚻 My turn to have a seat and I waited about 15 minutes and was seated by the front window. I haven't been to a Big Boy's in about 30 years. I was excited to try the slim Jim as it was my favorite. The wait time for my order was about 20 minutes but not bad considering every table was full. The waitress (Alyssa) was on the move the entire time ensuring every customer was taken care of. The lunch menu was simple (see photo) and very appealing. I ordered the Slim Jim and fries came with it. I ordered a second Slim Jim and upgraded with onion rings and an additional cost. 🌰 Also, the pretzel bites with cheese and honey mustard sauce. The carbonation choice is Pepsi products. Very fresh and nice flavor. I will have to say that the presentation of the Slim Jim is a little different than what I remember. The flavor is there but I remember more meat! The ham is so thin but maybe that's why it's called a Slim Jim, any thoughts? The pretzel bites are a favorite and yummy.😋 The food came out very fresh and temperature-appropriate. Nice job! 😁 Great customer service & Kudos to management as well. I appreciated the management/cook for visiting my table and asking about the food quality.

A family favorite for many years. With the many closings of Elias Brother’s Big Boy restaurants, it’s great to see a new location open up in Plymouth, MI. As you would expect, they have stayed faithful to the original recipes. My favorites are a Slim Jim and a *REAL* chocolate MALT (not to be confused with a shake)! Terrific staff and retro decor put this restaurant on my list of often-visited places.

It disappoints me to mention that this place is extremely racist! I stood at the door for a good 3 minutes before anyone approached me! Also they have a halal menu & I asked can one of my burgers include the halal patty even if I paid & was told that they couldn't do that! The first waitress said this to me without even trying to find a way to accolade me. Another waitress came along & negotiated a way this could be done all the while not being happy about giving me this option on the first place, it's as if she instantly regretted her decision! While I'm waiting on my food I'm uncomfortable bc the two cooks were having a secret discussion with the initial waitress that refused to accommodate me, so now I'm concerned about something being done to my food! The entire time I'm here awaiting they're having secret facial features & conversations as if I caused a disturbance all because I asked to " PAY" for a halal patty! I'm very spiritual & refuse to put anything in my body, as this discomfort continues im noticing them greet the "YT" customers right away with no hesitation. If you're a black person, especially darkskinned I don't see them rushing to your side to take your order. Be...

This was our first time there. Visit started out with receiving kids menus that had coloring and activities on it…but they do not provide crayons because kids have drawn on the tables in the past. Next, we order and my coleslaw comes out. I can immediately tell it smells off and try one bite and can tell the mayo has gone bad. I have eaten a lot of coleslaw and this was for sure not good. I notify the waitress, she tells me it was just made, so I said I didn’t want it. She just smiled at me, said nothing about getting me something else, and goes to dispose of it and then sits down to continue to eat her fries and scroll on her phone. The food comes out which tasted ok, but was cooked very inconsistent. We ordered two adult dinners, one kids meal, and fountain drinks. With tips it came out to almost $60 for diner food. Staff was mostly inattentive and spent a great deal of time sitting in booth on phones. Will not be returning. Sad it is not the big boys I...
