Food is always great. Pies fantastic. Food deserves 5 stars. One employee can ruin a whole business . Today instead of coming in to order. I made a order on door dash and picked up that way. I checked my food before leaving and noticed that I requested my Mayo on the side but it was already on the sanwich. As nice as I could ask I told the nice young lady at the front .i told her the receipt says that the sauce should be on the side. She looked it over and said that she would get it fixed. She went to the sandwich station and told the guy. He yelled “it is on the side” the entire store was now looking to see what happened. which was very embarrassing. But quickly she corrected him and told him it was not on the side she looked. He then said oh I thought you meant the salad dressing. THE RUDE GUYS NAME IS CHRIS, and is the manager, which is awful. GET RID OF HIM. He is not a good representation of the quality business and food here. Not the first time he has been rude but this time he earned a review. I apologized to the staff because at that point I felt bad. I drive from 35mins away to come to this location. I think I’ll go to Ann Arbor from now on. It’s unfortunate because I like this location. First post was around 9/10/18. I used to like this place but we had terrible service. My mother and I waited forever for our food as we saw people who'd come well after us served one after another. I finally asked the guy at the window and he insisted the others came in before us. Wrong. Then he grabbed my mom's sandwich off the food warming shelf, so I was right, it was there. He was not in the least sorry. Not a word. Then, my mom's reuben came as turkey with cole slaw on it! I took it to them and asked why her reuben was turkey and they said that's what she ordered. It was not. I was right next to her when she ordered it and heard her order. They did not fix this for her. Really, I should give them one star but I've liked them in the past.

New entry/edit I'm making on 9/19/18. On Sept. 11th I emailed the manager Erin after she responded to my post and it's been 8 days now and she never responded. I hope it's just one of those times where an email gets past someone, but it sure doesn't help the situation. I'd written a well thought out letter to her and not a word.

We always buy pies here for my kids birthdays. They are so much better than your standard pies you can buy at places like Kroger, Meijer or Walmart. The only complaint I have is that we picked up an order of pies for my son's birthday. But when we got home, realized one of the pies we ordered was a cherry crumb, and the box that it was in said summer fruits. Without cutting into it, we weren't sure what we got. And weren't celebrating my son's birthday until the weekend. I called and spoke to a manager, and she was very nice. She explained to me that they have an excess of boxes left over from the summer fruits pies that are seasonal. And they had to use them up. She assures me that this is the correct pie, unfortunately whoever put it in the box never made it clear as to what was in it. Nothing was crossed off, or had any indication that it wasn't a Summer fruits pie. I trust what the manager tells me, and I guess we will find out this weekend.
