We’ve routinely used this location for our groceries in person and have dealt with small issues - bought cereal that was somehow stale despite not being past expiration date, having to sift through products because expired items are still left out, and their chicken usually looks bad. This week, we needed to do online delivery for the first time because of access. Placed it in the morning, got notifications that order went through as expected and waited for the time slot it was meant to be delivered. When our status on the app showed as if it were a pickup order, we called to confirm the status of our order. They confirmed that our order was completed and waiting for the driver. Shortly after, received DoorDash notification that the driver was picking up our order & after 10 minutes received a message from our driver that the store claimed they don’t have our order. I then received notification from BJs app that the delivery failed. This literally makes no sense, especially when the order was placed first thing in the morning. The ONE time we don’t have the means to drive to the store, they can’t even execute properly and lie about the status of our order. This is a shame and an accessibility issue. ESPECIALLY when they’re boasting “free shipping” with the Halloween weekend. So...
Read moreUsed to like BJ's a lot. But the people they have staffing the front desk on weekends, and some 'manager' named "Chris" had to be the most ineffective manager I've ever encountered. No real customer service. People aren't trained to actually solve problems. "Managers" aren't given any actual power and are no better than glorified cashiers who can only drone "blah blah". Pass-the-buck stuff. Either BJ's Corporate gives their onsite staff no power to actually do anything helpful, or this guy was lying through his teeth. Either way, this is not the BJ's I joined many years ago. If money or common sense are involved, don't expect a good resolution. Apparently the top man at the store is not even empowered to put a sign up at a product location to help customers avoid making similar mistakes that I saw. And for those of you who do digital coupon clipping, do not leave the self-checkout until you verify each and every one actually came off. Don't assume they will, because they won't. Then if you discover it, they give you weaselly words to make sure they don't have to actually do anything to correct the situation. This store makes Comcast customer...
Read moreI order a 1/2 sheet birthday cake on 3/31/25, for pickup on 4/5/25 at 9am pickup time. When I arrive at 10:15, the cake wasn't ready. Two women in the bakery department were looking for the cake. When I ask for the manager of the bakery. Luis, the bakery department manager, tells me that they are working on my cake. I asked is there a problem with my order. No reply from Luis or staff in the bakery department. Instead of being honest and forthcoming with me. Luis attitude was your still going get your cake. At this I was annoyed that it was no accountability. My time is valuable the same as every other customer. When I finally got my order they spelled the name wrong on the cake. I told them the name was spelled wrong and I need fixed, Donte is spelled will an O not an A. Luis told me I was yelling at him. I said if I was yelling at him security and the police would be here. I was offered a discount but the whole experience left me dissatisfied. I also didn't get what I order, they gave me a marble sheet cake instead of yellow sheet cake.I hope some one would reach out to discuss this...
