Big Billy's BBQ bar and grill — Restaurant in Plymouth

I and my wife have found Big Billy's to be very family friendly. It's clientele is very diverse - all ages, individuals from all walks of life, and all wonderful people. Children and service dogs are welcome. The owner is very personable and community minded, who enjoys decorating the windows of the bar, for all to enjoy. She is very supportive of ALL First Responders, which includes all the branches of our Military...as well as Our Country, it's Flag, it's Constitution;.. and most of all, its citizens - We The People!! For this - I give them ALL, a most deserving - Salute!! Yes - the wife and I do treat them as family! A home away from home, and a place I feel safe to hang my hat and relax after a rough day at work.....

I am now, retired Law Enforcement (50 + yrs, rank of Captain),... With this said,... myself and many of my Officers (male and female) have found ALL of the servers to be very friendly. The service remains impeccable... ( Heidi, Alexia, Jeff (the cook), Sue a friend of the bar, and all those servers not mentioned) are always very friendly and fun to converse with. The food - absolutely amazing.

Would I recommend the place to others - most definitely!! I and my staff, family and friends - gives Big Billy's a 5 star rating in all categories: Food, Service, Atmosphere.

Definitely do not pass this place up!! I had the shrimp dinner and literally the best shrimp I’ve had in the entire Midwest. Very lightly breaded, succulent and plump shrimp cooked to perfection. I felt like I was getting fresh shrimp straight out of the Gulf. Even the french fries were amazing. Must get a side with your meal. The shrimp dinner came with coleslaw too and again, the best coleslaw I’ve had in a long time with a decent portion size. We ordered cheese curds as an appetizer, which was a generous portion size and loved the sauce it came with. We also tried the smoked chili which I really enjoyed. The bbq sauces are so gooooood!!! The sweet BBQ is my favorite! They also have a mustard one, also tasty, and a hot jerk, which was very tasty, but a little too hot for like liking. I ended up asking to buy a bottle of the sweet bbq sauce to take home as that’s how delicious it was! They personally made one for me. Our waitress was also amazing, very attentive and friendly. I live over 2 hrs away and would drive again just for this place. A little hidden gem tucked in a small WI town! Don’t pass...

Very Disappointed.... I have gone here multiple times and had a good experience. Today, however, fell very short. A sidewalk stand at the the Mill Street Festival had a wonderful BBQ sandwich (live sample) on display for $5. Great - I'd like one. When I received it, the portion of BBQ was 1/3 to - maybe - a half of the aforementioned sample. I commented that this does not represent the sample. They looked at me with no comment. The adult sitting in a chair said nothing either. A total slow pitch to make this right; but, they didn't. Short changing a customer and, in this case, false representation, was truly disappointing. Would have been one star, but, like I said, I have had good experiences there before. I hope the kids serving do a better job next year as it reflects on...
