I absolutely love this place, and I love the root beer. However, their is this one girl, who is so rude to me for no reason. They usually sell the half gallons of root beer, and since Covid, they haven’t been getting them. Well, I ended up getting Glass half gallons in Blackfoot. So, one day I asked if I would be able to fill them, and I was told yes. I was like okay cool. Before I even brought them in to fill them, I asked 3 more times. Everyone said yes. I wanted to make sure it was really okay before I brought them in. So, I brought mine in and guess what. I got them filled. So then, I brought them in again, and this girl told me NO, they’re no allowed due to Covid. I told her, I had just brought them in last week, and that it was okay’d by the store manager(I was told that Reed said it was okay) And she flat out refused, and was just soooo rude. I was like whatever. And left, and came back again and asked again, and explained what happened, and they were like yeah, you’re able to fill Idky she wouldn’t let you. I was like cool. Went about my day. Maybe not everyone knows that’s this is a thing now. So I came in on Tuesday or Wednesday and filled it again, and that same girl. Was there, but a new kid was the cashier, so he didn’t know what to do, or how to charge me. So, the girl was like idk were not even suppose to be filling these, as she slammed my bottle on the soda machine. For one, idk what her issue is with filling the soda, it’s extra money for the company, it’s not like it affecting her personally. It’s not my problem if she doesn’t want to go and ask if this is now allowed. So I told the new guy, that I’ve been getting charged the $6.99. And then some lady came over to help him. I come to this store almost 3x a week, and I just don’t like being treated this way. And absolutely appreciate that you’re allowing us to bring our own bottles to be filled. No one else has had this reaction, and if they didn’t know, they went and asked, and they’ve been told yes, and they’ve filled it. Except this girl. She is just not a nice person, and no customer service skills. I get dirty looks, and an attitude. All because I’m filling a bottle...
Read moreWow! My family went and had our first meal here and it was delicious. I had a bacon double cheeseburger and I can honestly say it was probably in my top 5 burgers I've had in Pocatello. I also went with the cheese curds, turned out to be a really good choice which I would recommend. To top off the meal they give you an ice chilled glass mug to put their fresh, made in store, A&W root beer in. It immediately frosts the drink and you get a slushy like effect in the top keeping your drink cold for the whole meal. It is an excellent finishing touch to the drink. Sure, the employees need some more training, and at first it seemed like a strange location for a new restaurant, but the more i think about it, the owners were smart with all the foot traffic. The employees will get everything down as well. There is limited parking in the lot itself, but the street is open for parking as well and there is plenty of room to navigate being tied to the adjacent gas station. This new Pocatello fast food joint gets a...

Let me start off by saying, I know that this is a fast food joint with underpaid, overworked employees. I have been there, never want to go back.
But the behavior I just experience was absolutely unacceptable. You do not ask a customer "is that it?" When they are still making their order. Also when you hand someone their drink, I know its 'hard' but do try and make sure that the lid is on properly. Very 'difficult' I know. That being said if you do hand a customer what is a basically open container, do NOT just stand there and smile when the drink spills everywhere. Especially don't just smile, say "have a good day" and close the window.
(Dear pink-haired employee of this A&W. I understand that that it was 7pm on a Saturday night , and you were most likely wishing you were somewhere else. That does not give you permission to ruin my Saturday night. Please work on your...
