Well it’s not often I leave reviews but here I am. My wife and I decided to get food here before heading down with our daughter to Primary Children’s for her surgery first thing in the morning. We had been to this Subway many times and enjoyed and recommended to everyone that this be the Subway in town they go to. Well, on this particular day I made a mistake coming in. A younger woman, shorter with blonde hair and a nose piercing was running the store solo. Now I can 100% understand the day in day out frustrations of customer facing jobs, especially alone. However, I think her behavior went far beyond just having a bad day. As I walked up to the front door she immediately angrily pointed at the other door and shouted “Use that one!” I thought fair enough, as I didn’t see her sweeping her pile in front of the door. So I smiled and walked to the other door. On this particular day we had already had a pretty hard and emotional day given what the next 24 hours were going to entail so I was a bit spacey. In my “spacienss” I walked to the wrong end of the counter. She snapped at me “Are you just buying cookies or were you getting a sandwich.” Again I just kind of shook it off thinking she was maybe having a bad day. About halfway through making the sandwich she walks over to cash register and starts ringing me out. Now I thought this was a bit odd since it wasn’t busy in there, in fact I was the only one in the store. As I slot in my card it asks if I want to leave a tip. Given she had kind of been pretty rude up to this point I declined to tip on the screen. The moment the receipt prints out she rips the paper from the printer and looks it over before tossing. I realized she saw that I hadn’t tipped her. From that point on she was only somehow more rude. She haphazardly jacks the sandwich in two making its contents spill all over the paper and then slings it across the counter without another word and walks back to go sweep. At this point I was fully convinced she was just a really unkind person and was just going to forget about it. Oh but she wasn’t done. As I get into the car she stands at the window and just stares at us as we pull away without breaking eye contact. The whole way out of the parking lot. As I am about to turn out to leave the parking lot my wife looks back to see she is also recording us on her cellphone. I sat up last night honestly racking my brain if I did something that right away made her dislike me. But I really can’t think of anything other than I almost used the wrong door. My wife and I had had a very stressful day and had another few ahead of us. We wanted to get some food we knew we liked from a place that typically treats us quite well. I know that everyone needs a job and it’s important to have a solid income, but in today’s world where almost everywhere is hiring, I really can’t understand why someone would choose to work somewhere where they have to deal with people if they truly hate dealing with...
Read moreI rarely write reviews but I thought I’d save someone the trouble of dealing with this location. The staff is unbelievably rude and has the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. There was a miscommunication with my pick up order. I didn’t see the cookie in the bag, asked the worker about it. She said grab it yourself. Confused, I walked from the pick up counter to the one she was standing by. She must have thought I said chips and told me to get my own. I was on the phone with my husband so I promptly hung up the phone. Maybe I misheard her. Apologizing, I told her I still didn’t see the cookie in the bag. To which she responded “would you like me to show you?” in such a snarky tone. She snatched the bag out of my hand, dug to the very bottom of the bag underneath the napkins and pulled the squished cookie out of the bag. Before I can even apologize for not seeing the cookie, she responds “see, told you?” with so much attitude. Puts the cookie back in the bag and shoves it at me. As I’m leaving, I hear her swear and tell her coworker how rude I am. I am honestly appalled at their standard of customer service. Save yourself the trouble and just go to the one...
Read moreOrder time: 7/18/23 at about 12:10pm. Waited for about 15 minutes just to get our order started. Two sandwiches, my father and I. The younger worker in pink stripped shorts is the problem here, she touched a bunch of countertops and other surfaces with her gloves from outside the counter, then tried to use those same gloves to make my fathers sandwich. When he asked her to change her gloves, she gave a heavy glare at him, changed the gloves, and in retaliation decided to severely skimp on all the ingredients. She was hostile to the point that the person working beside her had to push her out to keep her from doing the same to my sandwich. Later on, my father thought he heard her talking to him, and when he replied "hm? " because he didn't hear, she snarkily said "I wasn't talking to you. ". This worker should not be in customer service if being asked to do the basic, bare minimum of health code procedure makes her act this irrational. Please use the date and time of this order to see the incident for yourself, and do something about this employee. She's...
