I had just experienced:
1.). The humbling reality that I am getting older and needed to have my first ever colonoscopy.
2.) The agonizing preparation for the colonoscopy (I will spare the deets)
3.) Relief from procedure and the thought of what glorious foods I could now inhale.
4.) Taco time came the day after, but my meal was quite possibly the best I’ve ever had! I pulled up with a hankering for a crisp burro and noticed it was late, wondering when they closed. Lights were on, so I went through the drive through. The gentleman was ever so patient with my indecisiveness and I finally made my choice with a polite response from the employee. As soon as I had ordered, the lights shut off and the closed sign went up. No!!! I didn’t just order my food RIGHT as they were closing?! I had!! Yet, they were so sweet about it as I profusely apologized and cowardly paid for my meal. I couldn’t believe how kind they had been and how silly I felt for being “the last minute customer”! The food was exactly as I remembered it as a kid. Delicious and warm, but crispy in all the right places! Oh my, I felt young again!!!! Taco Time has given me “new life” not only with their fabulous menu items but their remarkably incredible employees and superior customer service! If you’ve never been, you’re missing out! Plus…every so often one of the jokes on their sign out front makes me laugh...
Read moreI am so confused! See photos attached of the receipt and the value menu items. I was overcharged! The receipt says soft bean burritos are $3.19 each and the crisp tacos are $3.09 each. So why was it not $7.95 for those four items? I need an explanation please? The bean burritos weren’t even full and thick, and the tacos were so greasy I could only eat one of them. Where is the quality control in this restaurant? I feel deceived by the overcharging of these items when they clearly are under the 4 for $7.95 value menu not the regular price on the receipt. I am offended and appalled by this deception. I need a response from the owner of this restaurant and some compensation. We all know the restaurants make the profits in the drinks no way does it cost $4.29 for a fountain large Diet Coke. The MexiFries were cold when we got home and we had to reheat them in the microwave and we live right around the corner from the restaurant. The prices have gone up and the quality clearly has gone down. I gave them 1 star under service because they overcharged me on the tacos and soft...
Read moreWas great a week ago, minus the huge batch of refried beans being made and mixed DIRECTLY ON THE FLOOR! Has to be a health-code violation! Went in Christmas Eve, and I cannot believe how the older heavy-set lady chose to talk to her employee! She was snappy and rude with the employee and us customers. I had gift cards to use and their out-dated machine they have to run the cards on for some reason "could not connect." The woman did not even try unplugging the power source and letting it boot back up, she just rudely announced that the gift card wasn't going to be working that evening after wiggling the cords on the machine. We took our $20 food order elsewhere. I guess our gift cards will wait until we travel out of town. How...
