DiMatteo's Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Point Pleasant Beach

Worst experience ever, while on vacation. I'm a senior with diabetes so I am very careful what I eat. I ordered (in person) a Caesar salad with grilled chicken and an order of chicken tenders for my granddaughter at a whopping $28.50. When I got to my car, I opened the bag and found a CHEF salad with lunchmeat (can't eat) AND fried chicken, NOT grilled on top of the lunchmeat. I went back inside to inform I had the wrong salad and the guy who took my order AND my money started to argue with me telling me I didn't order what I ordered. Like I said I'm a diabetic so I KNOW what I ordered. He was soooo rude and condescending, rolling his eyes and huffing and puffing. I stood there in disbelief, like I was in the principle's office. He made me feel so bad, I almost walked out but EIGHTEEN DOLLARS for a salad in a pizza dive was not happening. I won't even get into the chicken fingers which went in the garbage because they were not edible. They were either left over or way over cooked because they were so dried out and hard you couldn't even bite into them and that's coming from a child who eats almost anything. He finally gave me my money back after making me feel like a POS. I have never been treated so badly by anyone in the food industry EVER. Shame on you!!! I hope this review is used as a training opportunity instead of another chance to argue with...

First time ordering here. Don’t bother using on-line ordering as it doesn’t work. I arrived when the site told me to, only to have the counter person look at me like I was nuts. The order wasn’t ready because they never got it (so it was 15 minutes more to make it as if I was a walk-in). The food at least was pretty decent. Overall annoying experience.

First let me start by stating that I DO NOT EVER LEAVE REVIEWS, however this food was so tasty and perfectly prepared , I had to come and let everyone know that if you are in the area. Hands down this is the pizza shop you want to go to. I am not a New Jersey native but I do know great food when I eat it. I ordered the white pizza and specialty BOLI. Tons of cheese and melted ricotta with the garlic on the white pizza and a crazy amount of fillers (pepperoni, sausage and meatballs) in the BOLI.
