Polk City Pub — Restaurant in Polk City

Tried calling them for a half hour every 5 minutes. Nobody answers their phone. A prominent bar owner once told me that the number one rule of the bar business is to always take the money! That would almost be impossible unless you answer the telephone when it rings. I heard this place has good tenderloins, I wanted to order some to find out for myself, but I guess that I will never know because they don’t answer the phone. Lol Can’t imagine that they can stay in business long doing that. Imagine calling Casey’s to order a pizza and if nobody would pick up the phone. Ridiculous!!! I guess good help isn’t available in Polk...

I have driven by this place for years and never had occasion to stop in. Came in with my crew on lunch break. Impressed all the way around. The waitress was very friendly. Just genuinely pleasant and perfectly attentive.

The facility was very clean and neat on the inside. The outside of the building looks a bit old and neglected, maybe part of it's style.

The food was actually really impressive. Much better than expected from a small town pub. We all ordered different meals and everything was fantastic. Nothing fancy, but everything was fresh and perfect.

Tried it once and the owner was super rude!! Seems to be a trend from other reviews. She had an attitude all night I brought my wife and friends and they all agreed and wouldn’t be back.

I decided to come back and I didn’t personally come back but my wife picked up food for me and said the guy had an attitude. Idk what that’s about but I’m done given chances I prefer it down the road anyways they’re always...
