Waters Edge Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Polk City

Water's Edge Bar and Grill is as much a part of Polk City as City Hall. They have really good food and you just feel very welcomed when you go there. You can definitely tell that they have regulars most of them very warmly welcomed you there are a few that would rather keep to themselves. I have never had a negative experience. They have an outdoor patio where you can eat or drink. I can't think of anything negative to say. Plus they have a whole bunch of stray kitties in the back but the owner takes care of he's built them shelter to stay warm and feeds them daily they are really cute cat and it's a joy to watch them interact and play...

We came in and sat down, we walked out 15 minutes later without a single hello or acknowledgement that we were there even though the bartender made eye contact with us and was well aware we were there. There was 6 people in the entire place when we got there. Two people walked in 10 minutes after us and were immediately helped, I can only assume they were regulars by the way the bartender interacted with them. A simple "Hi and ill be right with you goes a long way." We had a hungry crew with us, 6 adults and 4 children. The waiter was patient with us and kept us up to date on how soon our order would make it to the grill. They have a small kitchen, but the cook creates big results from it. The food was fabulous! We had Burgers, chicken, patty melts, sausage, and every deep-fried veggie on the menu.
