Got Pupusas? The good taste n-2 — Restaurant in Pomona

Food is good, I usually go to mammas puppusas an they're also good there an fast. But came here 2 weeks ago an the food was great the service was ok so I wanted to show my wife this spot today, so I place an order at 1240pm over the phone for a pupusa loca., they said it would be ready in 15-20 so I get there at 118pm an they say to give them another 15, so that makes me think they forgot about my order. So I walk back in at 145 an they said it was ready but it was just coming out, I could see from the front...... so I waited a whole hour an people who ordered after me left before an they had more pupusas... but after I pay I tell her ok it's just cheese, beans, an pork right? An she said oh I put jalapeños in it, I said but on the phone I said on the side. An she said yea sorry we put it in already.. An I said I didn't want it like that, that it wasn't my fault? I said it proper how I wanted it, an she tells me well maybe next time just say it like this an says it... an I looked at her an said ok.. but what now. An she said oh well I mean you could take it or you'll have to wait again.. an 3 people just finished placing big orders.. so as you can imagine it was a horrible experience for me an I was really excited to show my wife... but sadly this place is gonna be a hard no for me now... they don't take care of there customers for there own mistakes..... Like if they would have said oh we apologize it's our fault it's cause we had forgot or whatever the reason I would have understood. An I do speak Spanish, but there are some words I'm not good at pronouncing. So it also doesn't help that they have someone who answers the phone an works the front who doesn't...

Delicious pupusas!! - as good as the homemade pupusas of my Salvadoran in-laws. My in-laws are the best Salvadoran cooks around. My sister in law was an actual chef until she retired. I have never eaten pupusas in a restaurant that compare to theirs. Until the restaurant « Got Pupusas ». The pupusas from this restaurant don’t have too much masa. They are not huge and greasy like a lot of restaurants. They have plenty of filling. And the Salvadoran horchata with morro seeds they have is the same amazing kind as my in-laws. I will definitely go back soon. My kids’ favorite thing is pupusas and, up until now, we have only been able to eat the fantastic kind at family parties. And during COVID, there were very very few parties. Now we can have them any time we want. We are thrilled. Got Pupusas has the best pupusas I have ever had in a restaurant and I have been to at least 7. Good...

The food is good, but their customer service is horrible, I go there frequently, but I’m gonna stop eating here, they take super long to give you your food, we ask for the bathroom key right after someone had used it, and she told us the bathroom was closed for the rest of the day, in a mean way, for thanksgiving we went like around 2:30 to go eat there and the lady said that they where closed for the rest of the day, when I see people there eating, so I ask there was no sign saying there where closed that early and her response was, because I want to, that was not nice and other bad experiences I had there due to customer service I will stop going there, they are...
