Back when I was 23, I got married to a beautiful woman. She was perfect. Or, that’s what I think. It’s been so long I can’t even remember what she looked like. As a matter of fact, I don’t think I know what I look like. I’ve been stuck in closet for about 3 decades now. I’ve been surviving off bugs and wall insulation. I just recently discovered this phone in the wall. Its origins I’ve yet to find. Though, I have found some interesting things. I’ve found photos of a woman and a man accompanied by a small child. There has to be hundreds of these photos. In one of these pictures, it’s shown that a hooded figure is looming over the sleeping woman. The weirdest part about this photo, is that I remember it. I’ve seen this somewhere. I keep thinking to myself, “Who is this woman?”. Same goes for the man. And the child. And the hooded figure. And most importantly, the photographer. There’s so many questions that need to be answered, I might be here for another couple decades just trying to solve them. My first assumption is that this family in the pictures, belong to me. It might be a long shot, but if I recognize a photo, it has to be connected to me somehow. Oh, and I remember this place. I went here once, the food kinda sucked ngl. I could recommend the jerk chicken pasta, but even if it tastes good, I still got slimy diarrhea from it. Honestly, just go to McDonald’s. Wait. Who’s McDonald? (It’s a joke, I have beef with this restaurant so I left this review...

Not gonna lie, the Jamaican food at this place should be illegal- FOR HOW GOOD IT IS!

After our favorite spot on the beach last minute cancelled our reservation due to over booking on Mother's Day weekend, we were kinda bummed and we're starving on trying to get a bite to eat even if it was takeout.

My boyfriend decided to stop by this small Jamaican spot right off the bridge and told us to give it a try and boy was it was the best move we made that day! We didn't sit in eat but ordered to go and started heading to our place and let me tell you, the amount of food and seasoning in these plates was so worth the wait.

My mom got the curry chicken with mixed rice with beans and cabbage, I got the Rasta Pasta with Jerked Salmon, my boyfriend got one as well but with Jerked Shrimp and I got a side of Mac n Cheese for my little brother. So freaking good?! We even had enough left over from everyone's plate to give to my dad and grandparents and everyone agreed that everything was amazing and worth a try for a new spot next time we come to...

Found a little bright jewel in the Pompano desert! I spotted this place through the corner of my eye as I drove westbound on the adjacent Atlantic blvd. Had to go try it out. The entrance is very welcoming, clean.and tidy, and the staff is friendly. Their menu is quite elaborate for its size. On my first visit, I tried the jerk chicken. For about $15 including tax, I got a huge portion of everything and including chicken. It was fingerlicking good! The steamed cabbage was very tasty and by no means overcooked. I can't say enough of how delicious the chicken was. The curry sauce I got for the rice was delicious too. On my second visit, the food was not as good. I ordered the same except instead of chicken, I got the jerk salmon and though the taste was good, the salmon was crispy and dry. There were 2 very small pieces. The total was $22 including tax. Not worth it, I would definitely stick with the chicken. And I surely plan to go...

Good Jamaican food but unfortunately I will give this place zero not because of the food but because of hours of operation. I love the food, the staff and I drove from Margate to show love and support for local restaurants but when I arrived around 12pm on a Saturday the place was closed. I knock, call and nothing. I feel horrible because I drove almost 1 hr for some good food for my family but instead I went home mad, angry and no food. This is a lesson learn, if you decide to visit I will suggest to call. I don't want anyone feel bad about a long drive just to be disappointed. I will take my money elsewhere and find another spot.

We were in search of some Caribbean food while visiting Pompano Beach. When we randomly noticed this Jamaican restaurant, we had to visit. We were in search of patties; however, they didn't have any so we stayed for lunch and had the jerk chicken, peas and rice, cabbage, etc. instead. Everything was delicious and well-seasoned. No complaints. Family-owned establishment. The owner was friendly and made us feel welcomed.
