Mad Chicken — Restaurant in Pompano Beach

The man who owned it was funny and personable. The atmosphere was quiet and clean when we went in— it was just us (late night order). I had the chicken biscuit only. It was INCREDIBLY delicious. The buscuit fell apart in my mouth in the best way possible. It was soft and also had crunch. I could tell it was freshly prepared using quality ingredients. Now, the chicken was on another level entirely. This is a restaurant that stands completely on MERIT. It just TASTES REALLY GOOD. Their story is awesome and their mission even better. My mouth is literally watering writing this review thinking about that little biscuit with the spicy homemade sauce— I can’t recall it’s name. Also it was a great size for like 4.99. I got a nasty mcchicken days prior for 7 bucks!?? And it was no-where near as good. I would so much rather have gone to Mad Chicken. I wish there was a mad chicken location where I live in Boynton Beach. My family and I would be there ALL THE TIME. It is amazing. I crave it after ONE VISIT, but I don’t get to go often because I don’t live near the closest location. I didn’t look at the reviews until I was sitting in this establishment waiting for my order & they were ALL dead on! I’m guessing it’s called Mad Chicken because after 1 bite you will be EXTREMELY MAD. The guy that works the kitchen & takes orders is not friendly or informative whatsoever. THE FOOD IS DISGUSTING!! It’s not cooked to order 4.The chicken that was placed over our tots and the entire dish tastes like it has traces of fish and is all out DISGUSTING!! The 8 piece traditional buffalo wings were, small, burnt, and salty Those 2 items cost a little over $28 I was issued a refund by the other guy that’s usually sitting out front smoking a cigarette. I know this because I’ve been there a few times doing DoorDash. My first clue should’ve been that the place was completely empty on a Friday afternoon in a high traffic area. My household has been planning to try this place for months & ended up highly disappointed and DISGUSTED. I had to eat a piece of candy to try to get the nasty taste out of my mouth. I went and spent those $28 at Wingstop. I’m sure this location is on its way to closure as it appears people tried this place once & never returned. First of all let me say I really thought it was gonna be a great place by the reviews and how can you go wrong with chicken tenders . Oh boy was I wrong . I went 12/21 around 8 to pick up dinner . Walked in it was dead . Only one person in front of me. When I got up to order the employee was very rude . Did not even speak until I said hello . Was an awkward interaction . Told his I want 4 tenders combo with mad sauce . Second order was 3 piece with another mad sauce . It literally took 1-2 minutes for food to come out . It said outside on sign cooked to order . So I had a suspicion that it was already there under a heater . But I’m like let’s see how it is . I Also ordered another sauce mad fire I believe it’s called . He gave it me , he also asked if I would like a ketchup I said yes . He proceeded to give me 3 packs for two combos lol I mean come on but I don’t trip . Got home opened the food the rest of sauces that come with it weren’t there . Was pretty mad at this point . But decided to go ahead and tried the food . The food tasted stale like it had been left over heater for long time , just like I suspected. Was very nasty , was not satisfied at all for 30$ I should have gone done the road to Zaxby or Canes .
