There's a lot to unpack about my first (and still current) visit...
Today is my closest friend's birthday, so we kept it simple for a Sunday afternoon, had a cake made, we planned on ordering from Domino's next to my friend's condo development.
For over an hour, we kept trying to reach the 900 S Pompano Domino's, which happens to be corporate, and NOT a franchise. I finally went to the store personally, only to walk in with the phone ringing off the hook, but only one lone employee, Destiny, putting hustle, heart, sweat and soul into banging out pizzas as fast as she was able. Realizing the situation to a point, I waited patiently for over 20 minutes while she made a valiant effort to make those pizzas.
I found out that she placed several calls to the General Manager, Dimitri, who is directly responsible for scheduling, made sure he himself was off, and did not bother scheduling another worker on a busy Sunday afternoon, nor did he even care enough to come in himself to assist her in any way, leaving her doing the work of 3-4 workers while Dimitri himself was enjoying his day off without a care in the world to his customers, and certainly no care given to Destiny, whom I just found out IS IN HER SECOND WEEK OF EMPLOYMENT!
Shame on Domino's and Dimitri for showing us yet again how a business puts profits over people, grinding through hard working employees with such heart while management blatantly ignores the needs of the very heart of your companies, the pizza makers.
While I had no problem giving her a hefty tip for HER incredible service, I will be contacting corporate directly tomorrow, this is beyond unacceptable, Dimitri is not deserving of the position of manager, he's utterly absent with no care or regard. Read moreI have tried to give this Pompano Beach location several chances to get it right. They are the closest to my house so I have to order from them for delivery. Only 2 out of 10 times have they successfully delivered an order with the Pizza in good condition. This picture is from a few weeks ago where the pizza arrived completely destroyed. The Manager had an attitude with me when I returned it as if I wasn't supposed to be mad at the condition of my food.
I vowed to never use them again but my kids begged me to try tonight. So I said ok, we'll give them another shot. 2 1/2 hours later my Pizza NEVER ARRIVED! This is the 6th time I've ordered and the Pizza didn't arrive at all. The last times they called me and told me it wasn't coming after waiting more than 30 minutes for it. Tonight no phone call nothing. Just a no show. I called the store twice to find out what happened to my Pizza and the person answering the phone just said, "Oh I don't know what happened to it." Then asked me if I wanted another one or a refund. It's almost 11 pm now. I chose the refund. And my family was very disappointed yet again.
I have been ordering from Domino's for years all over the country. This has been the worst experience with them that I've ever had. This Pompano Beach, FL location really needs to get it's act together. Customer Service, Quality of Food and Delivery is just trash. Thanks again Domino's...
Read moreI received my pizza Burnt towards the end of the night and called back and their automated phone service would not let me talk to anybody so I called back again and they where closed!! So I called back the next day to talk to the manager Colleen and informed her my pizza was burnt and they forgot to send my coca-cola and she said “you paid with cash and we don’t do cash refunds so I can give you new items but not now”!! I said what do you mean not now and she said “ you have to wait for the night time management to authorize it but I put it in the system” so I explained my brother was in from out of town and leaving today and I still have the whole pizza , he is 9 he took one bite and spit it out... so now it is 7pm and I am calling to receive my food I am owed and have been on hold for a hour and called from multiple phones and got hung up on with no body even speaking!!! So then I decided let me orde it online and see what happens and online said they made changes and decided to no longer deliver to my address, this is so unacceptable and not fair I wish I could upload pictures to show everyone how the pizza looked this is very unprofessional I have the pizza still In my oven now because I was going to give it back to them! They should have gave me my pizza back when I first called not wait 9 hours and all in all I just want my refund now!! I will be reporting...
