The golf course is descent and the building is nice. Greens were inconsistent and the tee boxes could use some work. As for the staff, the gentleman behind the counter was friendly and helpful. the rest of the staff acted like I was a bother to them. I was the only person at the starter stand and the starter walked by me twice and them disappeared without saying a word to me. I had to go back inside to the one helpful person so I could get a cart. Unless you are valet parking there is no easy way to get your stuff from the car to the cart and back. I guess you could drop everything at the bag drop, which is in an isolated spot, hidden from the club house, along what looks like a back alley. Too bad they don't tell you carts are not allowed in the parking lot until you have your cart. When I went to return the cart, there is no marked cart return area. I pulled up the cart stand, ask the person there where I should put the cart, and got a dismissive, right there will do. Granted, the round was only 26 dollars, but I was left feeling like I got 10 dollars worth of service. If I were to every play here again, I am sure things will be better. For one I won't need as much help with where things are, and it couldn't...
Read more11/14/2021 updated rating. It was a great day of golf and we were making a good pace until we made the turn. The stater let two slow groups go off on 10th hole. While we wait for the second group to tee off, we went back to pro shop to ask why they did that. First of all, the starter lied to the guy in the pro shop saying he only let one group out and when I said two that is when he admitted it. The gentleman in the pro shop was actually nice and offered us something to drink on the house but we didn’t take it since we just want to play golf and finish the round. The two groups were so slow and ended up causing traffic jam for everyone behind us. We went from less than two hours in the front to almost two and a half hour in the back. Please educate your starter...
Read moreReview based on golf on the Cypress Course. Course seems to be in a constant state of repair. Most of the tee boxes are torn up and ALL of the greens have SO MUCH sand on them. I get maintenance and aeration, but the amount of sand rendered the greens virtually unplayable. I'm not a prisoner of the moment, hence 3 stars. The layout is good and I "assume" the greens will get better, but there should be some notification about the condition of the greens. The practice greens were great leading me to believe that the rest of the greens would follow suit. At least sprinkle a whole bunch of sand on the practice greens so we can appropriately prepare for what's forthcoming. Been meaning to play this course for some now, too bad it was a...
