Look, This is an old school Pizza joint. It’s not fine dining. As it stands, the restaurant delivers as a Pizza place with simple American/Italian food.
Departing from the food menu, I will tell you that the Pizza is outstanding! I’m a chef and I spend 2 months ever year in Naples, Italy.
Although this pizza is not Neopolitan, I will tell you that it’s true New York/ North New Jersey Pizza. Most American people don’t care for pizza from Naples Italy. The dough is soggy and wet and there’s barely any cheese. It’s a different culture and a different product.
New York and New Jersey pizza however are very different, and we have acquired a taste for it. That being said the pizza here at Little Italian is the best of the best in this town of Pompano Beach. It’s so incredibly frustrating to not be able to go and get a slice of pizza and a pizzeria for lunch. All these places only sell pizza by the entire pizza. And then if you order a slice, you have to sit down and a waitress has to come and serve you. I grew up walking up to pizza counter in ordering a slice or to and being on my way. And by the way, that pizza is the best pizza ever.
I will tell you this, little Italian pizza is that place and it’s probably one of the only places in Broward county that you could walk up to the counter and get a couple of slices and be on your way. The pizza is insanely phenomenally good. The dough to the crust to the cheese to the sauce is off the chain. It’s perfect and. And that’s a bold statement from someone like myself.
You would be hard-pressed to visit this pizzeria and not agree with me.
Truly, the best pizza in...

The menu contains a variety of Italian entrees but I go mainly for the pizza special (2 cheese slices and a drink for about $7). The special is available daily, where you can choose between regular/Sicilian. I recommend trying one of each. The (regular) pizza is thin crust, with moderate cheese and light oil, so your hands shouldn't get too messy. The Sicilian slices are typical with the only exception being tomato sauce on the sweeter side. Pizza arrives warm to hot, but usually not so hot that you have to wait a while before taking a bite. Drinks include the usual selection of canned soda, bottled juice and iced tea.
You can order at the counter or sit down at one of the 6 to 7 tables and the waitress will take your order promptly. I usually visit between the hours of 1-2pm so it's moderately busy but not so crowded that you can't find a seat. Staff do a good job at wiping down tables usually minutes after you're finished eating.
Overall, a small but solid restaurant with good food options, pleasant service and chill atmosphere, suitable for all ages...
Read moreI absolutely loved this place. When I was living in pompano my father and I would order from here at least twice a week. The pizza is mouth watering delicious and probably the closest pizza to up north pizza. Unfortunately I moved a couple hours away but came down to visit the other day and of course my first thought was I NEED Little Italians Pizza! I called to place an order, the gentlemen I spoke with was plain out rude, which was a surprise to me because Bob the owner has always been a sweet heart. I so badly wanted the pizza so I wrote it off to maybe the man I spoke with was having a bad day.. plus being pregnant, it's kind of hard to change my mind when my belly is set on a craving. I called back 5 mins later to ask a simple question and a woman answered. She was 10x's nastier than the man I talked to. That was it for me. Yes the food is hands down the best I've ever had BUT customer service is a must! Hopefully next time I come to visit those nasty employees will be long gone so I can finally...
