LOVE THIS PLACE. My fiancé and I were in town for a short vacation and wanted to find a sports bar where we could watch the Ravens/Steelers game. When traveling during football season we love to find a place we can spend a few hours at to watch our games. This place did not disappoint. This is a great little dive bar with lots of flair.
We are not locals and the minute we walked in everyone was warm and welcoming. The bartender Sandy introduced herself, learned our first names, and remembered them all night. She asked us what teams we were watching and where we would like to sit so she could put the game on the TV closest to us for best viewing. I immediately felt at ease and welcomed.
We knew we’d be there for a while so having the pool tables, darts, and even a Super Nintendo was awesome to have while enjoying the game.
Food comes from the next door diner through a connecting doorway inside so, there’s no kitchen on site but, the food was amazing. We started with a few cocktails and appetizers as we knew we’d be there for a while. We ordered the Buffalo wings and onion rings. Both were very tasty and well done. The Onion rings had the perfect crunch and the wings were perfectly fried with good sauce. The blue cheese dip was nice and chunky.
All the locals and staff treated us as if we were regulars. Everyone was very friendly and there was fun camaraderie back and forth during plays on the game.
At the 4th quarter, we ordered a Reuben sandwich to share with fries and a bowl of chili. The chili was awesome. Packed full of meat, great flavor and nice and thick. The Reuben was also excellent. Lots of meat. The perfect sharing option.
Prices were very fair. Service was excellent and there’s a liquor store attached to the bar for easy to go cocktail ingredients to take back with you.
This place was the highlight...
Read moreWell let me start by saying that I have been coming to play by play for years however, I was up in new york for 3 years working and since I got back down I decided me and my husband would head back to our once favorite bar/pool hall.
Soon as we entered we headed to claim a table and then we're gonna order drinks .
Soon as we got to the pool table the bartended screamed out you got ID my husband took his out I was searching my purse pocket she walks away angry and throws back a shot. So I waited there with my ID in hand after she comes to check it she yells out what your drinking I just wanted a minute to decide what I wanted. I told my husband also please get change for pool table. Soon as he asks for change she yells out what are you drinking he said give me a minute were gonna decide what we want to drink . She then yells out you already had a minute and tells us this is under new management and we must buy a drink right now cause if she lets us start pool first without buying drinks she might as well let all the homeless in. It escalated from there she proceeded to curse and argue with my husband we ended up leaving as she cursed and argued with my husband out the door.
New management I guess means drunk bartenders and belligerent workers.
I'm highly disappointed and sadly will never be returning here.
I'm not sure of this woman's name but she has light brown curly hair and is very nasty.
I have spent so much money here in the past and was shocked the way I was treated. I mean really ofcourse I was gonna buy a drink who goes to the bar and pool table and don't have a drink.🙄 If I wanted a non drinking environment I would have gone to Dave and Buster's...

In the past weeks, new ownership has been working diligently to usurp some of the more troublesome clientele that has been dogging the place for years. The new owners are great, down-to-earth people that are friendly and creative with the changes they have been making to the establishment.
The food is quite above average for a sports bar. I have heard that their head cook has had fine dining experience, and the food they serve reflects that. Sure, they have wings and the usual bar food, but they also make a chicken fried steak that challenges the best breakfast joints in Fort Lauderdale Metro. Also, the Philly Cheese Steak is perfectly prepared with White American Cheese (as it should).
They have been updating the games they have, including an awesome MAME gaming system that has a plethora of old-school video games for people to enjoy (for free, I might add). Big televisions, pool tables, poker night, and a REALLY big Connect Four game are also highlights for entertainment.
They also recently signed the best Karaoke host in town, and I believe he will be performing on Wednesdays and Saturday Nights. We will be coming back, that is for sure!
They also have a chicken soup that might be one of the best things I have tasted since...
