Mini Pita Mediterranean Restaurant — Restaurant in Pompano Beach

Will not return nor recommend. Made dinner reservations in advance, invited family and friends, paid additionally for a show per person, and we all left disappointed by our restaurant experience. We were not greeted in a friendly manner We were seated where visibility to a show we paid for was obstructed and were not accommodated to better seating although empty tables were available when asked several times We had to repeat our orders numerous times to 3 different servers Our waiter kept getting pulled to serve other tables by the owner leaving ours on the back-burner Owner scolded and humiliated her employees publicly in front of all guests instead of talking to them on the side Food came out 2 hours after ordering and not all at the same time or in order they were put in We ordered before other tables but were last to be served Our orders didn't come out right They tried to charge us additionally for an order error on their end on top of bad service They couldn't get the bill right and brought it wrong several times Overall, an evening where we hoped to have a great time with family and friends, turned out chaotic. It was horrible and embarrassing to have family and friends experience this terrible service. Other tables were also complaining. My family and I are actually all business owners and understand the operations of managing a business and this is just not a place where a guest can be treated and served well....

We go there frequently because we like the food. On 2.20 we met our friend there in the evening at 630. he doesnt drink alcocol, so we ordered a bottle of Pelegrino. After a while I noticed that people who had come after us were getting their food, I asked the waitress who knew us from previous visits and she said that we will get our order in a few minutes. at 740 we still didnt have our dinner. I went inside to find the waitress and noticed they had a lot of take outs, I finally found her and asked her whats going on, she was fighting with the kitchen, turned out they lost our order. Then they wanted to finish some more take outs before even starting with the order, finally the waitress was yelling at us, and I even had to pay for the Pelegrino! She took her time with the change so I just left the $10 and we walked out to Talay Thai! This was not a situation which couldnt be fixed with some ready made appetizers! But I even had to pay the Pelegrino afte 1hr 20 minutes wait! Needless to say we will never go back there and we were going there...

Update: 2025 Went back here and ordered the side plate of pan fried vegetables. They were sour and looked old. Certainly not fresh. Came slightly warm and not even hot. Women's restroom was not clean at all. And this was just after opening. Waitress didn't ask us how the meals were and just threw untencils on the table before our soups arrived.

Our side orders were sitting there by the kitchen while the staff chatted. No wonder they were not hot.

Lemon soup was starchy rice tasting and not like it was before.

Very disappointing.

Website stated open at 10:30am. On the door it said 11am, so we sat outside and waited until after 11am. Later found out that there was an emergency and the waiter could not make it in. Understandable.

Went back later and had a wonderful experience. The Shrimp Saginaki was absolutely delicious and their Shawarma is outstanding. Service and atmosphere are impeccable!
