Smackin J's Deli & Grill — Restaurant in Pompano Beach

When I walked into the establishment I was greeted with comforting and friendly smiles. I told them that I was brought in by the photos on Google and they told me the girl at the front was the one who took them. The photos make the food look so tasty.

I was immediately alerted to the items that were not on the menu which sounded delicious. I stared at the menu unable to decide between all of the appetizing items available. I was in a trance trying to choose from the tasty selection when suddenly the girl at the front said "when you're ready I'll take your order".

I sat down near her at the host stand and told her I was having difficulty ordering. I asked what was popular and she said "everything" excitedly. I chose the cheesesteak bagel sandwich and a coffee. Everyone there was so eager to help.

I had a pleasant conversation with the host at the front and my food was out before I knew it. On the way to work I took my first bite of the sandwich and was instantly impressed with the flavor and freshness of the breakfast miracle. Savory, cheesey, and just plain delicious. I was so quickly absorbed into the flavor that it seemed like the traffic melted away and I time traveled to my next appointment.

We are so EXCITED, a new breakfast & lunch place opened up recently down the street on Copans & Andrew's Ave. Ext., in the old Sadie's location. Lovely owners & staff, Dandy Andy, Ali, Chef Jackson & a blonde woman server. Well, they took dreary, old, crowded Sadie's, & cleaned, brightened & modernized it to a very comfortable, cozy, local cafe! Two large TVs & two nice clean restrooms. The Colombian coffee is delicious, but, would love real half n half. We took Ali's suggestions & my husband ordered the breakfast quesadia & I had the breakfast tacos, both were so delish!!! Service was excellent, we got in at the right time, as when we were finishing, two large parties were coming in w nice children, which owners accomadated quickly, even with a highchair. My wife and I visited for the first time this morning.. I have to say impressive would be an under statement. From the moment you walk in the service is spot on. The food we'll imagine your favorite restaurant, then times that by 100 and you now have a new favorite. This morning was breakfast, however I will return in the next week or so to eat lunch and dinner.... my schedule is a little strange with my hours as I work for FedEx as a Linehaul driver and usually get off around 7am... I will tell everyone I know and the other drivers at FedEx about this restaurant... I don't have enough words to describe just how incredible this place is. It's a must to try....
