How coincidental is it that I was actively being thwarted from using the restroom before I buy something to eat. I stopped at this Wawa after being thwarted from the Publix across the street. As I entered Wawa, a guy gets in ahead of me at the Wawa and takes the 1st urinal (urinal #1; while actively on a speaker phone conversation) but a Wawa employee was standing at the only other urinal (urinal #2) Not using it but on his phone listening to something & weirdly blocking access to urinal #2. The single stall was occupied, so, I had to ask the Wawa employee if he was done for him to respond No and clear out of the way for me to use it. What might seem like a simple coincidence, I assure you isn't. I believe that more than meets the eye is going on here. And I urge Wawa management (as I did with my Publix review) to rein in their stores to ensure that they stay in keeping with their values and professionalism rather than potentially engaging in what might be visiting a trespass against me.
I was unable to to use the facilities & shop at the nearby Publix today, Thursday August 21, 2025 after driving about 2.5 miles for about 7 minutes per Google Maps as intended then seeing the nearby Wawa decided to go there but it appears that I was being actively thwarted here too.
To make matters worse, I ordered a burger and it was so drenched in sauce that I believe they put the equivalent of 2 servings of the mayo, mustard, & ketchup on the burger making it soggy & drippy. I'm very disappointed by my experiences today at this location. For as much as I've heard people rave about the food at Wawa in the past, I've found it to hold up to the hype and a worthy adversary to the other area competitors. However, the seemingly unprofessional actions I encountered here gives me pause in considering my options going forward. I feel less safe walking into a place I've mostly had positive experiences, Except for the...
Read moreThis is a new location, opened up about a month ago. So far things are going exceptionally well. There are lots of pumps and they're spaced adequately enough so one may squeeze between two cars pumping gas without much concern. There is also ample room around the pumps to allow for easy navigation during those busy times. Parking is also plentiful as it spans across three of the four sides of the location. There are is also outside seating if you'd like to sit and eat before continuing on your way. 4 total tables, each having 4 seats a piece. The self-serve coffee is located in two places. The hot coffee being near the food, with lots of flavors to choose from. There are also flavored creamers as various sugars and flavor syrups to use - all free with a cup of coffee. There is no Wawa brand milk. The iced coffee is located near the slushee and beverage machines. There is a total of four registers, and the location does a good job at regulating when to open them and when they're not needed. Most lines move pretty quickly. The food station is frequently crowded, but they do their best to keep everyone moving. Quality of the food is as it is at most other Wawa locations, nothing special here. Average wait til varies depending on the time of day. Generally drinks are 3minutes and food is about 5minutes at best. When things get busy, this wait time can easily reach 12minutes. Where possible, it's advised that you use the app as the wait time for the automated stations can be long if the customer in front of you doesn't know what they want or understand how they work. In short, the location is thriving. I'm curious to see how it will be 6 months from now, but at this point in time, things appear to be quite well. The location is a pain. It was built in what was already a very busy intersection, so entering the gas station can easily be a bit of a chore during busy hours...
Read moreThey start off well staffed and then Pare it down to bare minimum. You get stuck in line to pay for fuel while the register gets to play “guess which pack of tobacco is the one.” While the customer who has been sent in by somebody else has no clue either as they try to meet between the languages in english.
The building and fuel area could use pressure cleaning. The bathrooms are gross. And the workers that are there have lost the morale from 5 years ago.
One stared at me at the register after stocking some cigarettes only to walk off. So I scanned my own sub receipt and swiped my credit card. Seemed to go through.
I waited in line for a few minutes for my food, and then a manager came up and said I took cuts. That was not the case. I walked around a customer to the prepped goods heat lamp area and he reacted like it was some ethics foul. This, even though it sits between two registers.
I was informed I had to get back in line. I had experienced how slow it was the first time through with the lady running the register, so when I saw the line now. I told the manager “no thanks” 10 -20 minutes total for bread and meat was too long a wait.
Every business has ebbs and flows and I jus want to get things corrected before it hits the skids. I am a greying man now who is easy to please but this, even after years of truckstop to fuel, was the first place to have any drama beyond “take my money.”
I don’t like EV’s but the s show that is every florida fuel station makes a compelling case to...
