The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. They answered all of our questions and made recommendations. The bloody Mary was very flavorful. Started with the clam chowder was creamy, not gritty, perfection. Also had the chicken and sausage gumbo. This was perfectly seasoned with just enough spice to not make it overbearing. The shrimp and grits was just okay. The presentation was great. Would not order again. The cod was fresh, flaky and fried perfect. The tartar sauce was delicious and complimented the cod well. However, the cod was delicious even without it. Also ordered the cheesy crab meatloaf on a bed of creamy Mac n cheese with lobster sauce drizzled on top. Everything about this was great. This place is AMAZING! They offer a truly unique dining experience. The food is outstanding with creative flavors that are really well balanced. Every dish looked amazing and somehow tasted even better.

Even though the food is upscale, the vibe is totally relaxed thanks to the fun tiki bar setting. It's that perfect mix of chill and classy.

The cocktails were another highlight. They were really well made with lots of thought put into the flavors. Whether you're into tropical drinks or more classic cocktails, the bar has you covered.

But what really makes this spot special is the location. It's right on the water and we caught an incredible sunset that made the whole evening feel extra special. The food and service were fantastic. Definitely one of the better places in the area. Probably the best biscuits and gravy you can find in a restaurant. The Monte Cristal was just wow. The waffle was great. The seafood omelet was kind of disappointing and I wouldnt get it again.

With all that said, the atmosphere gets 3 stars because the music felt like something they would play to drive a person insane. I dont know if it was the Playlist or the speaker/speaker settings. It was just off enough to make you cringe. We even asked the waitress about maybe changing it and she seemed validated by the fact others also thought it was awful and she wanted to turn it off but the manager wouldnt let her.
