Fusión Cuisine & Bar Restaurant — Restaurant in Ponce

I do not like to talk poorly about a place nor their service. On the contrary, I respect those who work in this environment, and I wish them and the company's success on the long run. However... this was the WORST restaurant and WORST experience we had in a restaurant. The service was extremely SLOW and poor. We got there at 2pm and no one came to us to take our order. Two groups arrived after us and had their orders taken before taking ours. We waited 3 HOURS for our food. The waitress nor anyone else approached us throughout those 3 hours to see if we wanted something to drink or munch on while we wait our food. The place had lots of flies. The place was so quiet - there was no music nor radio on it was so awkward. We finally had our food and it was NOT worth waiting for. Some of our food was salty, cold, and the meat was hard and difficult to munch on. And the waitress forgot to bring our drinks until we told her. We decided to leave and instead and waited for so long as well for the waitress to bring the bill as well. It's a shame we had that experience... I wish I could give a good review because when you go out to eat you expect to have a good time and enjoy food and also rate fairly the place. I have seen good reviews for the restaurant here and I am glad for that. However, on the date we visited, this place was being run just by two persons and whoever was at the kitchen. We had to leave after waiting for more than 30 minutes because we were never noticed. Their service is very bad. Either they don't know their trade or are just plainly doing their job poorly. We have never experienced this kind of treatment at any restaurant in Puerto Rico or elsewhere. So, I cannot rate their food or anything else since we were not able to order anything. Service was a little slow but very hospitable. The restaurant actually has a wine corner and a decent selection of wine. We came in for a late dinner and even though the chef thought it was too late to make risotto con gandules, the owner came down to make it. I have never had risotto con gandules and to be honest thought it was a mistake in translation - but this was a delicious and creative dish.
