I had the pleasure of dining at Everyday restaurant, and I'm so glad I decided to visit despite some of the reviews I read beforehand. While the establishment could use a few upgrades in terms of decor and ambiance, this is merely a small blemish on an otherwise good experience.
The true star of the show is the food. It has the comforting and authentic taste of a Puerto Rican grandmother's kitchen, with every bite leaving you with a sense of home and tradition.
The staff also deserve special mention for their pleasant demeanor and attentiveness. They made the visit all the more enjoyable with their friendly service. I particularly appreciated their diligence in maintaining cleanliness; they promptly cleaned and prepared the tables as soon as guests left, ensuring each new diner enjoyed a spotless setting.
Additionally, I found the price of the buffet to be quite reasonable, if not surprisingly cheap, for the wide array of food items available. It's refreshing to enjoy such a diverse and flavorful selection without breaking the bank.
In conclusion, although some aesthetic updates could enhance the overall experience, the delicious food and courteous staff more than make up for it. Five stars truly don't suffice to capture the warmth and satisfaction this...
Read moreAn okay buffet during lunch in Ponce, but only if you visit early and don't mind the lower quality.
It has good points and bad points, but if you play your cards right, you'll be able to enjoy your visit.
First off, the time you come here is ESSENTIAL. 🧭
If you visit after 3, the food will have been sitting there for too long and gets soggy. And considering the ingredients are cheap, freshness is very important.
Show up as early as possible, ideally before 12.
Variety is decent, generally the same you'd eat at a cafeteria: fried chicken, various rices, pasta, and around 2 or 3 sides.
Prices are okay all things considered. You could pay the same for a single plate in some cafeterias, so I'd recommend if your alternatives suck or are fast foods.
Overall, is it good? Eh. Is it bad? Not really. It's more of a situational restaurant.
My recommendation is that if you want normal cafeteria-like food and you know you'll eat more than one plate, go ahead. Get there early, during lunch, and enjoy. 3.9/5 ⭐️
P.S. there are many a la carta options, so you can get a mofongo with chicken or something similar if you...
Read moreThis little Puerto Rican buffet has prices that will make you do a double take. Eating and drinking until you can’t anymore for $12 tax included sounds like a joke… but it’s very real here. The buffet itself is small, but it surprises you with variety—kind of like a beach cooler that somehow keeps producing more food than it can possibly hold. Sure, not every dish is award-winning, but there’s always something tasty to save the day, and no one leaves hungry. The roast pork was amazing, though one of the stews split opinions at the table, like we were debating politics instead of lunch. Best part: they take cash, cards, ATH Móvil, and probably even a chicken if you show up with one—plus parking right in front makes life...
