I've given this place 3 chances so far, and none have been what I would consider satisfactory. Visit #1, got my food as ordered and it was good, but had to wait an hour in line. Visit #2, drive up line was shorter than the first visit and it appeared to be flowing. WRONG! Waited 45 minutes to get into position to place my order then waited another 15 minutes in that spot. Not me nor the person in the lane next had our orders taken, so an out wasted...I drove off and went to Taco Bell. 10 minutes later I was on the road with my tacos. Visit #3, Drive thru line was short, only 20 minutes to place my order today. Another 10 minutes and I was at the window. Lots of confusion on what I had to drink...Sweet tea and a Coke. Then they had to ask me for my order # to find my food in the kitchen. Out of the window comes the bag, 2 sandwiches and a fry. Great! Well not really. Wife opens the sandwiches, both chicken. we ordered Rally burgers. Looked at my receipt, yep it says Rally burgers, ticket on the bag...chicken sandwiches. They gave us the wrong order. No way I'm going back to sit in the line for another 45 minutes, was just thankful for the food. Hope the next person in line...
Read moreFood was perfect, but the AI drive-thru software made me want to leave and go somewhere else. The AI couldn't understand my questions. After a few minutes of wrong answers and me being quiet, a human took over the order. He answered my questions well and quickly. The woman at the window was nice. The food was 5 stars, and I was thrilled they got a specific custom request perfectly right. Awesome staff.
For the owner and/or corporate, I don't care if short-term your net earnings seem to improve by using AI to start the orders and free up employees. I'm not going back unless you ditch the drive-thru automation. It's annoying, and the more negative feedback gets posted, the more people will elect to not go there. Especially patrons with social anxiety or an aversion to automated systems that make things go in circles. I'm trying to order a custom burger, not pay my cable bill to voice recognitipn software on the phone. Its the same reason why I hate using kiosks...
Read moreI ordered the baconzilla, I picked it up and got to work and there was no bacon on it. I called and told them what happened and they told me to come by sometime today and they'll give me another burger. I got off of work and went straight there and I walked to the window this time, they told me that I had to bring them the burger in order for me to get a different burger, this was at 12:00 and I got back at 5:30. So I ate the burger for lunch because I had to immediately clock back into work after. On the phone I was told I didn't have to bring the burger in, just show up. So they told me they couldn't do nothing for me unless I just wanted some bacon. So I got just the bacon and I was pretty much laughed at. This is 12 mile round trip from my work to Rally's, and then another 12 mile trip after work. Not only did I feel like I was slapped in the face once but twice. I will never be back.
