SHORT VERSION: ON ORDER CORRECTNESS: DRIVE-THRU=Likely Wrong, if any customized IN-STORE=Hit or Miss, so check before leaving MOBILE APP=Mostly Correct, unless they are “out of” any component to make it, and then the replacement likely made wrong or not equal value (so better to cancel order thru App, and place a completely new order, BUT, then You need to pay for it in person) MANAGEMENT=One Good Manager DELIVERY=Delivery is available through Grubhub, although their search has trouble finding it, they DO offer delivery from this Taco Bell location.
LONG REVIEW: As a pescatarian (I only eat fish+veggies), I hit up my local Taco Bell regularly at this location, BUT:
Their making the correct customized order is Hit or Miss, of lately, sadly, mostly Miss, and that’s even after literally HANDING them the order written out with what is being ordered, what ‘swap’, what ‘add-on’s’, and what ‘extras’, which literally follows the how to item ordering process of orders on their mobile App.
Even just asking for “Bean instead of Meat, and with all the other regular stuff that comes with it”, does not ensure that my food comes with ONLY Beans, and No Meat...I have received plenty of orders that still were made with meat, which I can’t eat as it will literally make me physically ill, because I haven’t eaten meat in over 20yrs! So, that leaves me having paid for food that I can’t eat & have to throw away.
However, the Staff are ususally pleasant and friendly, and the Managers (or at least one Manager there specifically), is pretty understanding. I had wracked up $2 they owed me for being over charged (due to a mobile app issue)), an entire nachos bell grande box with customizations about a $10 order (because they ran out of nachos+I ordered 2 bean+rice burritos with red sauce and cheese (about $3 bucks), which they then made with MEAT, they were Bean+Rice Burritos! They weren’t even supposed to have meat!!), and For being over charged for 2 Extras that weren’t added to my order($0.30+$0.30), but I was charged for according to the receipt...The understanding Manager, supposedly left a note to take care of it with the next shift Mgr..which resulted in me just getting a Taco Salad with guac & rice (cost=?), and a Mountain Dew Blast Freeze Large, FREE...An even trade considering the amount I was owed? $2.00+.30+.30=$2.60+$10 Cost for Customized Nachos Bell Grande I bought via Mobile only to find they were out of Nachos & couldn’t make so instead I only received 2 bean+rice burritos, which were made with Meat so I couldn’t eat, I SERIOUSLY doubt it. Oh, and I got the non-freeze version of the drink..rolls eyes
The Stars are because at least ONE Manager there tries, and because when they do pay attention the food is GREAT! When ordering through the Mobile App the food usually comes back made correctly even when customized, UNLESS, they are “out of” part of the order, like the Nachos for a Nachos based order, which oddly, they often are, (which makes no sense to me), but if they are “Out Of”, and I then have to come up with an alternative, that’s when things go hay wire...or when ordering in person through the drive through if any customizarion it will likely be made wrong...the in person in store is hit or miss for some reason, so check it before...
Read moreWent on a Friday night at 930. Husband went in to order bc drive thru didn't seem to be moving. I waited in car while they went in. 45 min later my husband comes out with NO FOOD and says they refused to refund his money or make our food. Order was placed on kiosk 1 and he has receipt. The receipt shows the following date at 230 am, which was impossible bc inside locks at 10pm. the shift manager told my husband there was nothing she could do. Can't get a refund and they don't have his order. She then proceeded to ignore him waiting an additional 15 min while telling the story of him to other employees. They seemed to think this was really funny. He just wanted someone to either make the food or issue a refund. I called following morning and spoke with store manager who is trying to make this up to us. Will be issuing a refund that I have to back to store to get, and will be pulling cameras up from the time we were there. All I can do is hope that something is done as repercussion from this incident of total lack of respect and service. Absolutely disgusting behavior from this shift. Will not be back to...
Read moreWaited an hour in the drive through for an online order with the wife. Drive thru wait was long but not necessarily the stores fault. At the stall, the lady recited our order correctly, but after another ten minute slog, the order is entirely wrong. My wife is vegetarian, and bit into a black bean crunch wrap that made my double beef burrito look like an easy portion. I went inside and brought the food inside, to get it replaced. After waiting at the drive thru, I was surprised with how swiftly they made and expedited my food. But lo and behold the other caveat; no tomato, which I not only placed on the original ticket, but also enunciated to the cashier, and heard the cooks recite this information to themselves.
