Al's Fresh Fish & Chicken — Restaurant in Pontiac

When it comes to fried chicken, fish, or shrimp, freshness is a top priority. Few things are worse than getting fried food that's been sitting. I love Al's Fresh Fish & Chicken because everything they serve is cooked to order. I've tried three different fish dinners, the jumbo fried shrimp, and their whole chicken wings. Everything was hot and delicious. I was very unhappy with the wing dings, however, because of the breading on my order. That, and the fact that they haven't signed up successfully with Door Dash or Grubhub are the reasons why I didn't give them a 5-star rating. I would certainly recommend them to anyone who is looking to cheat on their diet with some deep fried...

The food here is really good most of the time. However, their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. They will tell you that your food will be ready in 15 to 20 minutes regardless of how busy they are! So, many of their faithful customers have experienced the aggravation of having to wait an additional 5 to 15 minutes AFTER arriving 25 minutes after placing the order. Finally, I can't understand why they refuse to sign up with Door Dash, Grubhub, or Uber Eats. It's as if the owner doesn't care how much money is being left...

They are very nasty if you look in the corner of the window by the cooler you will see dead bugs and spider webs they also try to sell you old chicken that's been sitting up and they put it back in the grease to make it seem like it's fresh just look in the lobby by it self is nasty and the area we're they have the uncooked fish it's Nasty trays that the fish sit on is nasty they just nasty group of individuals never will...
