As I waited in the car, looking forward to trying this place, I could have never imagined the shock I’d feel hearing what my fiancé endured. Not only was the service appallingly slow—he waited nearly ten minutes before anyone acknowledged his presence—but the entire experience reeked of disregard for basic health, safety, and sanitation standards.
Firstly, the employee who eventually surfaced had food all over her hands and no gloves. This is not just bad practice; it’s a potential health code violation. In any establishment serving food, employees are required by law to follow strict hygiene protocols, especially involving handwashing and glove use when handling food. This lack of basic cleanliness is disturbing and could have serious consequences for customers’ health.
Even worse, the employee refused restroom access with the excuse that it was “broken,” despite having two visibly functional bathrooms in the lobby. Public establishments typically have a legal obligation to provide restroom access to customers, especially paying ones. Denying that access, particularly after encouraging customers to dine in, raises questions about compliance with customer rights and local health ordinances.
To add to this, there were young children playing on a visibly dirty floor behind the register without adult supervision. This not only presents safety hazards for the children but also raises serious sanitary concerns. Allowing children to play in food prep or service areas is a gross violation of both health and safety standards, which mandate that food service areas be kept clean and restricted to authorized personnel only.
Frankly, this situation suggests a potential need for health inspections and might even merit reporting to local health authorities. Businesses operating with such disregard for sanitation and customer welfare should not be allowed to continue endangering public health. This experience went far beyond disappointing; it was disturbing, unsanitary, and...
Read moreJust wanted to say I was glad to find a very delicious Taco place and thought I'd share it because my family and I are sick to death of fast food, and all of the same usual places we frequent. They all are worn out on us. But its so laborious to cook all the time.
Today we had QuesaBarria Tacos (made with corn tortillas, cheese, and seasoned beef grilled together nice and crispy) The kicker is, it comes with a delicious beefy tomatoey consumme dipping sauce. What an amazing flavor.
We had one each, that my brother brought over for us, so we could taste them.
We liked them so much we went back tonight and bought a whole pizza made the same way. The 'pizza' is made with a flour tortilla, not quite as crispy but just as much flavor. LOVE LOVE LOVED the consumme dip.
We're definitely gonna go back and try more stuff from there. But even for a change of pace, I'd say give the QuesaBirria tacos with consumme a try.
I tried to get pictures before it was completely annihilated, but it was so delicious it went very quickly at our house.
We also tried the flautas, which were good and nicely presented, though I did wish there was a bit more seasoning on the chicken (perhaps on the rice and beans also) but I'm still looking forward to trying more menu items from this place. The QuesaBirria Tacos with consumme were definitely...
Read moreI visited this place today based on my daughter’s recommendation—she hasn’t tried it herself yet but was eager to. I made the drive to this unappealing part of town, only to be met with a thoroughly disappointing experience.
Upon arrival, I had the unfortunate need to use the restroom. I waited nearly ten minutes at the counter as the young lady working in the back seemed to prioritize other tasks. Eventually, she emerged, visibly unclean with food on her hands and no gloves, an alarming disregard for basic hygiene. When I asked about the restroom, she informed me it was “broken,” with a lackluster apology. I explained that I was there to order food as a paying customer and urgently needed to use the restroom, but she only repeated that it was unavailable—despite two visibly present restrooms in the lobby.
If I could give this place a negative rating, I absolutely would. The experience was atrocious. To add insult to injury, feeding my family here would typically cost over $100, yet the employee’s indifference not only drove me away but cost the business a significant sale. Here’s hoping they fix their service and cleanliness standards because, as it stands, it’s...
