I have gone here often and got burgers, fries, onion rings shakes etc and service was great. Once about 6/7months ago I got 2 separate orders of sliders and fry meals w toast, got home & there was a black latex glove inside 1 of the boxed meals. I took it back inside the manager was an older gentleman that handled the situation he apologized, handled the issue with complete professionalism, offered coupons, the full 9. I felt like I was at a southern restaurant with the care he showed me. I decided to give Saavy another chance solely based off that experience which was the best I ever had. FFWD to Sat MARCH 25, 2023...The last 2Xs I ordered chicken tenders that come with the toast that I love. Now these last 2Xs they didn't have the toast, the 1st X I was offered 2 tenders to complete & substitute a 10 Piece order of $19.99 which was fine by me. The last X tonight a young lady that took my order told me Texas Toast wasnt available yet AGAIN, I asked her if anything Would be done to substitute the toast being Unavailable to make it a complete order and she told me no! & I was taken back by her words. I said Well can you at least do something being that my order was incomplete with a substitution of at least tender or two? Finally she simply just says "yes. I almost canceled the order & asked for my money back which I should have. Now anyone that knows customer service & anything about the fast food industry.. Knows this is HORRIBLE customer service because many other places will offer something for them INCONVENIENCING you with some sort of complimentary item right? Every single time Ive gone previously I always order xtra texas toast. To add to my frustration there was a male at the window where I was to pay for the order that asked me if I wanted the chicken tenders fried hard. No one there has ever asked me that before..I told him I just wanted them fried soft as usual being that I was sharing my meal with a senior citizen thay would appreciate the meal being soft. So I waited which was was fine near 10mins because I wanted the food dropped hot which was completely fine. So I noticed the voice of the young lady that came to the window being the one that took my order...So she hands me the food & says Thank Youuuuuu. Now I don't know if it was me the fact that I was irritated & dissapointed by the toast being out yet again or wha But, it felt it was a tad bit exaggerated or maybe she was being polite Idk... But either way at this point I will NOT be back. I have no problem spending money for good food & good service thats what draws the customer's back along with good treatment. To wait on bad food on top of everything else... The chicken tenders were fried EXTRA HARD & we couldn't enjoy it so money was wasted but at least my dog was happy. Im going to Culvers or someplace...
Read moreThere is a new Slider King in town! I tried the Box 9 - (2) Chicken Fingers (w/ teriyaki sauce) and (1) slider upgraded to Big Signature with regular fries. My first trip, so I wanted to taste a couple of the products.
First the less than great - the teriyaki sauce was thick and not the best. The better news is the chicken fingers were delicious without any sauce! The slider was MASSIVE when it comes to your thoughts on what a slider might look like. It was significant bite, meaning you will need to open your mouth wide for the bite. It was very tasty and the vegetables were fresh. In fact, all food was hot and fresh. The fries were tasty with no sauce and no extra seasoning.
The box was a very nice change compared to the traditional fast food bag. I found it actually easier to eat while driving.
The staff was friendly when I swung around to pay and receive my food. Smiles and personality. In fact, the workers seemed to be having fun inside the shop as well. This is a nice change from the normal fast food experience. Happy environment usually translates to a better food experience, better any experience really.
Last thoughts, the parking lot isn't easy to maneuver. From finding the right lane for the drive thru (You need to enter off of BALDWIN, NOT Walton) to making the hard left after you order. Suggestion is to not worry so much about the hard left, go more gradual. You will easily make it to the window.
I will be...
Read moreWas in the drive thru for over an hour. They took our order three times at the box. I noticed on the screen that my stuff was not rung in properly, addressed it with the female taking my order. She told me she would tell them to make it how i asked. Then we got to the window they gave us the completely wrong food when we checked and charged us for the wrong food so we wasted more time getting a refund. Had to call a manager on the phone to figure out how to get a refund. Then he handed us “our” order. Which again was done completely incorrect. She even asked me if I wanted whipped cream when we ordered and it did not have whipped cream. When we told the guy at the window that the food was incorrect he said “oh I’m sorry”. My fiancé asked me if I wanted to stay and wait for them to fix my order but I said no because who knows how long that would’ve took, it was already 11pm at this point. I’m 8 months pregnant and have to get up for work early. To top it off, fries were cold and burgers were cold. They tried to remedy it with a $5 coupon to the store on a $31 order. Needless to say I won’t be going back and I’ll be throwing...
