Blue Star Family Coney Island — Restaurant in Pontiac

I really like the gals that serve here. They take care of business. The food is great and the prices inline. There are two things I don't care for, most the time there are two tv's on and music. Often the sound to one tv is off or very low but the noise can be disturbing. The other thing, the tables are dirty. Today I offered to come clean them yself if I could get permission. They were t always like this but someone must have put something on them a few months ago that simply is stuck to the surface, sticky and dark all over the surface of every table i have seen. Its sad, i will be back, but only to see if the table issue is taken care of. Once they have clean tables I will frequent Blue Star Family Coney... and...

They literally have the best bacon,egg,cheese breakfast sandwich that is to die for....lots of bacon,real flavorful...don't know why theirs is so much better than when I make one, it's only 4 ingredients.... friendly, clean and the kind of diner where u actually can strike up a conversation w person next to u...old fashion lol. I'm working my way through menu,fish dinner is quite good and the fries are really good, must use clean oil, I dont know but crispy ,not burnt. Coffee is pretty good too. Worth...

Horrible place....The young lady answered the phone with a attitude I order eggs &cheese and Hash-browns with grilled onions walked in the building the lady yelled across the room you already placed your order ...Yes ... she come over swinging my food around she told me $7.23 I said really are you sure she look me up and down and said yes do you want it or not ... so I paid for went to my car open the box up and it was one egg hashbrown were over cook unbelievable...
