Valentino's Diner — Restaurant in Pontiac

I’m gonna to express myself best I can here, So here it goes … Sunday 8/3/25 my husband myself and my parents had all decided that we would take a chance and go for breakfast which we use to do every Sunday morning it was tremendous risk for us because although we had gone every Sunday without fail as it’s been a Sunday morning tradition for years in our family the disappointment in our past experiences over the years has us getting together at one or the others home Sunday mornings to catch up So with that said we had decided to go to the New addition to Joslyn ave VALENTINOS DINER Which we had driven by several weeks ago and just happen to notice the name change and the effort that has been taking to make the place a beautiful addition to the Pontiac community GREAT JOB BY THE WAY ! The place looks amazing ! So this is our choosing destination to try to get back to going out on Sunday mornings family gatherings . And we could not have been more thrilled with this experience. At first when we walked in the place was busy I mean very very busy and we all were thinking the same thing that this is gonna be a catastrophe lord have we set our selfs up for a sure disaster. However, this ouldn’t been be further from the truth . Truth is, we had the most amazing experience although it was busy the Waitress working we’re doing so with team effort . And also the lady who at first you would think is a bus girl like most all restaurants have believe was clearing tables and sweeping here and there trying to keep some kinda order on a busy Sunday best she could show that she cared about the customers experience later as we sat and enjoyed our meal we discussed that maybe she either had to be the owner or the manager, or at least maybe the shift leader because they called her for everything and she was Johnny on the spot when called to duty either way to see her doing all these job things so her servers could serve and the guest did not walk in to a diner filled with dirty tables and sticky floors spoke volumes on the level of her dedication not only to her coworkers but to the owner Somebody must be very proud of her and whoever you are that employs her let me tell you this I believe that you made a very very wise decision because she cares they all worked like they cared and you should know and hear this whom ever you are. Because the team work that we seen that we experienced from your staff that kind of teamwork only comes from good leadership. So just sum this review up the food was great it was delivered to our table fast and correctly cooked The place is clean and beautiful from the outside as well as In The service was excellent and what an amazing addition to the community thank you whoever you are we appreciate you and your efforts have not gone unnoticed my family will be there on Sunday every Sunday for our important family get together thank you for giving us back our family tradition and your investment in our community. I ordered fried chicken wrap on Uber Eats and they made me a grilled chicken breast on a hamburger bun. This was 3:20am. I was so hungry, I got up and drove 10 miles to that restaurant and told them to make my fried chicken wrap. I showed him what the cook made. They said on our in we can see if it’s a wrap. Mind you I ordered this twice through Uber Eats and never had an issue. This is a new late night cook, who has an attitude like a woman. I told them to can they make my wrap. They had to see my photos from Uber Eats from their menu. So he made the wrap and that was wrap he put cheese around the wrap in the description nothing says cheese and I’ve order it twice already. I ask to make it again. Mind you I’m The Who had to get up out my bed after paying for UberEats to bring me the food. The late night Hispanic waitress had an attitude as well and told me. Hello everyone just wanted to shine some light on valentinos in Pontiac,MICHIGAN on the corner of JOSLYN. I’m from Atlanta, Georgia I was home visiting my mother and we were trying to decide on something to eat and I remember my nephew telling us to try Valentinos. Which he knows im very picky, but my sister, mom and I decided to give it a try. Walking in around noon, first impression was ( wow) It was immaculant, very clean and the staff was amazing. Our waitress was very personable and very welcoming. We had questions about certain foods and she had great answers and suggestions. We placed our order and we were eating within 15 minutes. Honestly I was blown away of the food arriving piping hot and very delicious. If you’re ever in the area stop by and grab a bite. You won’t regret it. Also Kat is absolutely amazing. I went back 3 days later and got a burger, I must say that was a good quality burger....
