Huddle House — Restaurant in Pontotoc

It is gettin ridiculous Huddle house in pontotoc Ms has always been my favorite spot to eat since I lived in pontotoc but I believe going back to 3 months till now it just getting worst and worst the food the service and atmosphere

I go this morning as I usually do every week I place an order for 1 of the new sausage and bacon casserole with toast (we asked if it was served with biscuits or toast she said either one you like ) so I asked for toast And 1 southern fried chicken casserole And 1 order of OREO PANCAKES

waiter proceed to take our order by memory because she didn’t write nothing down so when we get our order we get 2 sausage and bacon casserole with biscuits in both so I was like I asked for toast on mines and she said ok I’ll bring it right out didn’t realized the other order was not what we asked for until my son went to dig on his plate to start eating and I said ok it just a mistake so we told her that we had asked for southern fried chicken casserole and she likes o yeah we out of chicken then she proceeded to bring the 1 order supposedly OREO PANCAKES she sit it on the table and they are OLD FASHIONED PANCAKES I was like there’s no point of telling her nothing no more ok we finished eating and there she come right out with my order of toast “for what now right”

Then the whole time we was eating we have this girl staring at ppl the whole time you can see it in her eyes she was high as kite on some kind of drug I’m guessing she was the greeter because that all she did stand there and look at people eat and greet people It just a total dislike now I know huddle house can do better

Food was good but the music in there was like I was in a juke joint I had to get up I asked him to turn the music down and they didn't and until I got up and I just said you know I asked them to turn music down it was like you know nobody could even hear their sales you go in there to eat and Associated Amino and have a conversation with other people and and you can't even hear yourself think that was uncalled for uncalled for and I wasn't the only one that said something to turn the music down and when they turned it down slightly and then turned it right back up I mean who's like they didn't care until I had said something out loud in front of everyone I have never done that in my whole life and it felt like I done made a scene but I never done that in my life but I felt compelled because nobody cared in there and you know and I happen to have traveled a long way to visit with my friend and could not even hear her speak and she...

Amanda, the supposedly manager of Huddle House in Pontotoc, MS was extremely rude and unprofessional when I came to the restaurant this New Years Eve to redeem a reward offered to me by email, she would not honor it or didn't know how to put it in the computer or both, after waiting for the order to be prepared that took about 45 minutes waiting for her to come up with excuses that didn't apply, such as ordering it on line which didn't apply she never apologized for not honoring it and I believe she deliberately did something on the computer to void my reward, I plan on speaking with the owner regarding her behavior, I feel these unqualified people relay on the fact that because of staffing issues they can treat customers any type of way & get away with it, I hope the owner see this and reprimand her...
