My grandson just turned sixteen and we had his birthday dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings. The food was incredible and the servings were huge! I think every person left feeling very full and carrying a to-go box full of food home with them. I had the All American Burger and wedges. The burger had not one, but two really large patties, and was so delicious. It was tender and juicy and had a mouth-watering smoky flavor. The wedges were also really good and were cooked to perfection, soft with just a touch of crunch to the outside of them, and seasoned just right. Our server was very friendly and efficient. Even though we were a party of fourteen, every single order was perfect. No one got the meal of the wrong person delivered to them, no one was served the wrong sides, and no one had any complaints at all regarding how their food was cooked. The only things that anyone was less than pleased with were how noisy it was, which was actually understandable since there were football games on the tv screens and many people were there eating and cheering on their favorite teams, and the fact that tips were automatically added to the tickets rather than customers being able to decide on the amounts to tip. I waited tables many years ago, and I understand that sometimes customers don't leave tips when they are deserved. But I also believe that tips should be determined based on the service received. And good servers in an establish such as this likely would often make more if left entirely to the discretion of customers who appreciate good service. I saw no signs advising that their policy was now to automatically add a predetermined tip to the bill, and several of us resented this a little bit. Our server quite likely would have come out better had we been leaving cash on the table or adding our own amounts to the check, as she was very good and we were pleased with the service...
Read moreFrom the beginning this place just kinda lacked all the way around. We walked in waited a good 5+ minutes for the host to seat us which was us telling him just the two of us, him grabbing menus/silverware, him walking away from us without saying anything, then just plopping the stuff down on the table while he just kept on walking. Didn't ask if it was an ok table (which was a tiny table by the bathroom, under the AC vent) or say your waiter will be here shortly nope just kept on walking. Then waiter drops off menus (corporate has raised the prices again...) and takes drinks order (good move so far) but then takes awhile to come back with said drinks. Food takes forever to come and was brought by someone else then our server and she just walks away. Food was cold and we didn't have our sauces and the "manager" walks by asking if everything was ok but didn't even stop while doing so just a blurt while walking by so no help either. Finally got all our sauces after having to flag our server down for the second time since he hadn't came to check on us or stopped the first tine long enough for me to finish a sentance. Then we were done and neatly stacked up all the boats and trash together for easy clean up including our empty glasses since we didn't get refills but had to again wait until litterally flagging with my card to show we wanted to pay. The restaurant had several guest's but was not full/overflowing and he had empty tables in his section. Overall a sad experience and this location will be on my do not stop list when...
Read moreElla is the greatest server created since sliced bread. I don’t know what kind of fairy winged magic Ella has in her apron, but this woman turned a regular Wednesday night into the Super Bowl of service. I came in expecting some decent wings and sports on TV. I left emotionally attached to my waitress.
First of all, she knew the menu better than I know my own blood type. I asked for a recommendation and she didn’t hesitate, “bottomless apps guaranteed to have you leave here being pushed in a wheel barrow” I’ve never been so honored to be bossed around in my life.
Ella didn’t just refill my multiple beers, she anticipated it like a service industry Jedi. I looked at my almost empty bottle and BAM! There she was. Michy ultra already in hand. I sneezed once and she brought napkins, a blessing, and a flu shot.
She even let me play her favorite songs on touch tunes which happens to be both of our favorite artists….Hannah Montana and Justin Bieber. Who does that? My own mother still gets it wrong.
By the end of the night, I was 6 wings deep, unlimited mozzarella sticks, full of joy, and considering putting Ella in my will.
If Ella ever leaves Buffalo Wild Wings, I’m going wherever she goes. I don’t care if it’s a TGI Friday’s in a gas station, or the local munch and pump. 10/10,...
