THE QUEEN MAKES BETTER CHICKEN THAN THE COLONEL!!! 👑
My buddy Jevon & I finally tried this place out after the 4.9 stars on Google caught our attention and it became abundantly clear why this place is so highly regarded!
I ordered the 2pc Mixed Chicken, Roll, Mac N Cheese, Mashed Potatoes & Gravy, Fries, Banana Pudding, and a Slushie. My buddy Jevon ordered 2 Hot Chicken Sliders, Roll, Fries, Mac N Cheese, Banana Pudding, and a Slushie.
✅ Chicken was juicy and coated in a crispy flavorful breading! ✅ Hot Chicken Slider was good and my buddy Jevon made quick work of both of his sandwiches! ✅ Fries were good with a delicate crisp that paired very well with their Q sauce which I found very similar to CookOut sauce. ✅ Mashed Potatoes & Gravy were a surprise hit! They were thick, fluffy, and very filling! You could tell that these mashed potatoes were whipped in-house. ❌ Mac N Cheese was a disappointment for the both of us. It had a runny consistency that can be best described as "noodles in sauce" that not even the light amount of paprika could save. As Jevon put it: "My noodles were swimming" ✅ / ❌ Banana Pudding got mixed reviews from us. I was ok with mine and appreciated the vanilla wafers on top, but poor Jevon's soul was crushed when he realized...it wasn't homemade. I would best describe the banana pudding as "cafeteria quality" where it's enough to be a general crowd pleaser but might be a disappointment for those who have higher expectations for banana pudding as a delicacy. ✅ Probably the most underrated part of the experience was the SELF-SERVE SLUSHIE BAR WITH UNLIMITED REFILLS which Jevon & I took full advantage of during our visit! 🥰
Overall, we very much enjoyed our experience at Queen's Hot Chicken and we'll most...
Read moreA Fiery King of Fried Chicken: Queens Hot Chicken I've been on a mission to find the best hot chicken, and Queens Hot Chicken has officially raised the bar. This place is not just about heat; it's about flavor, crunch, and a truly unforgettable chicken experience. I ordered the Hot Chicken Slider Combo with a side of their Mac & Cheese. The chicken itself was incredibly juicy and tender, a testament to proper brining and preparation. But the real star was the crust—a beautiful, crunchy shell that was both light and perfectly seasoned. I chose the "Hot" level of spice, and it delivered a slow, satisfying burn that was fiery without overpowering the delicious flavor of the chicken. The slider was perfectly constructed with a soft bun, a tangy pickle slaw, and their signature Q sauce, which provided a creamy, cooling contrast to the heat. The mac and cheese was a pleasant surprise. It was rich, creamy, and had a lovely baked crust on top, tasting like genuine homemade comfort food rather than an afterthought. The atmosphere is casual and vibrant, and the staff is friendly and efficient. They clearly know their product and are proud of it. The menu is simple and focused, which is a good sign that they've perfected what they do. Queens Hot Chicken is the kind of place that will satisfy your craving for a truly great chicken sandwich or tenders. Whether you're a heat-seeker or just a fan of fantastic fried chicken, this place is a must-visit. I'm already planning my next trip to try the "Atomic" level... with a...
Read moreThis was my second time ordering from Queens Hot Chicken, and once again, they did not disappoint. I went with the 16-piece mix (yep, again!) that came with 4 sides and 6 rolls, and it was just as good.
The chicken is tender, crispy, and full of flavor—not spicy, just delicious. Every piece was cooked perfectly and had that homemade, seasoned-right taste that’s hard to find these days. This isn’t heat for heat’s sake—it’s just good chicken, done right.
Now for the sides:
The mashed potatoes are creamy and comforting, like something straight out of grandma’s kitchen.
The potato salad is cool, flavorful, and has the right blend of seasoning.
The fries are hot, golden, and hit the spot.
But that Q Sauce? Man… 🔥 That stuff deserves its own spotlight. It's bold, tangy, and takes everything it touches to another level. I need a bottle of it for the house.
The portion sizes are generous, the pricing is on point ($31.99 for the 16-piece meal with all those sides is a steal), and the consistency between visits speaks volumes.
If you're looking for flavorful, filling, and satisfying chicken. Queens Hot Chicken is...
