I tried this place out for the first time today and it's definitely the last. I was the only customer there so I thought it would go fairly smoothly...The girl in the stand asked for my order then in the middle of me placing it she saw that her friends had pulled into the other side. She interrupted me mid sentence, literally ran out of the stand and within a couple seconds everyone was out of her friend's truck and visiting in the parking lot. Lincoln Street Coffee Pot is a bright island on a gray day or on any day in the PNW. It is a woman-owned business with all women baristas creating coffee and drinks with heart. I order non-fat mochas in the fall and winter and cold brew in the spring and summer and no matter who makes them they are consistently great. The drive-thru is usually staffed by two people, making it a quick stop right on Lincoln Street/Highway 101 in Port Angeles. The rewards program is buy 10 drinks get the next one free. Been a longstanding customer for 6 years. Have always thought the utmost for this business. I waited in line for 15 minutes while the staff and one customer just chatted their personal lives. Transaction finished and they continued visiting for 7 mins as if no one else mattered. It was extremely inconsiderate of both parties. Park and come talk allowing others to go about their lives and not roast in their hot car. Slowest latte serving time in the whole city hands down. Drinks have gone down hill last few years.
