We had a hard time locating cute coffee shops in Port Angeles, so decided to go here as they advertise free wifi and have a cute sign, plus the Google reviews were stellar.

Frankly, huge disappointment. We ordered Americano, which was okay, but the drip coffee was pretty terrible, definitely tasted burnt with no other identifiable flavor. Ordered breakfast sandwich - bland, unremarkable. You'd think since they advertised free wifi that their wifi would be strong - nah. We ended up using our personal hotspot as things were loading snailpace. Plastic chairs - uncomfortable. Definitely a small town coffee shop, but I can't help but wonder if they prioritize locals vs outsiders, as both us and another party who clearly were not from the area received to-go cups while others (regardless of our arrival time) had ceramic cups, even though we mentioned to the cashier staff to be enjoying our beverages there. Will not come back and do...

Holy pie! Cannot express enough how delicious Shannon's pies are at Blackbird! They are made with love, experience, kindness, and the BEST yummy pie tastes I've ever tasted. And I love pie. Which is why we had to order all of our wedding pies for our 4th of July wedding from here! My MOH and I tried a slice of their Triple Berry Pie on the way up to Hurricane Ridge (it was meant to be saved for dessert later that evening) but it was completely gone by the time we got up the mountain! We ordered 11 delicious pies from Shannon at Blackbird for the wedding and I was bummed we had to share them LOL. They were all delicious! They were ready for pick up, carefully packaged, and looked amazing! Can't thank Shannon and Blackbird enough for the best wedding dessert we could've ever imagined! Why have cake when you can have pies?! Absolutely delicious! Can't wait to come back to visit and not have...

I don't remember ever writing a review before, but, for this great experience I feel I needed to! I love pastry's :) and this coffee shop has the best I have found in the Port Angeles, Sequim area and I have gone to many of them to find a good pastry and I have found it!!! I don't live in Port Angeles, I live in Sequim, but, I will find more excuses to visit PA so I can stop by the Blackbird Coffee House. Oh, and I should mention the gal that helped me at the drive-up window could not have been any nicer. There are some places that I will not go into anymore because of rude service and the Blackbird Coffeehouse is definitely is not one of them. I can't comment on the coffee, it was to late in the day to have a cup, but, I'm sure it is as good as the pastry and service. Thanks Blackbird Coffeehouse for making the end of my day a...

Best service and ambiance of all the coffee spots I’ve tried in town over the last five years and a space that’s welcoming and inviting enough to make you want to stay. They even have a kids reading corner! Their sandwiches are made to order, and they have delicious pastries. They also have some beautiful paintings and local artist highlights for super reasonable prices given the quality! Espresso shots are pulled in doubles, and they have plenty of different milk and syrup options available. The staff are super sweet and knowledgeable and have been great at answering any questions. There’s also a water station for folks, and they were recently kind enough to let me use it to fill my water bottle before going hiking.

Another morning and another amazing coffee shop discovered in Port Angeles. Blackbird Coffee has absolutely everything you would want in a coffee shop including great coffee, great food, art on the walls and a spectacular crew working there. Everyone is so nice they all seem like owners and we certainly felt welcome even if we didn’t necessarily appear as locals. The next time there is a ferry to catch in Port Angeles, get there early and stop at Bkackbird coffee. You will thank me for that little tip. Michael Delehanty Compass Real Estate

Port Angeles is a city where you'll most likely stay while visiting Olympic National Park, if you don't find lodging in the Park itself. This coffee house in Port Angeles is a good pitstop on the way to the park, right before the turn towards the park. We stopped while going to Hurricane Ridge point which was 19 miles from here. This place had a good selection of coffees, quiche, pasteries. The interior was cute and enough seating with couches and chairs. The servers were really friendly so recommend this place!
