Billy Joe's Bar-B-Q — Restaurant in Port Neches

Not bad by any means. Their sauce just wasn't quite up my alley. The specials were pretty small portions, so if you have an appetite, I'd go bigger.

Now if I could review just the little old spitfire running the joint, it would be all five stars. She was brusque, rude, mean, ornery, and awesome. You could tell that was her disposition and sense of humor. She even gave me some free jalapenos for taking her beating. She really made this place a memory for me. Unfortunately, the BBQ sauce wasn't quite attuned to my pallet, so I won't be making any more memories here.

Always a great, affordable meal at Billy Joe's for many years running. Last night we ordered take out. I had the rib dinner, my wife had the turkey plate, my daughter had the chopped beef sandwich and we also ordered a portion of sliced beef. Everything was great as usual but the ribs and slice beef were some of the best we ever had there...or anywhere else. The beef was butter tender, juicy and delicious and the ribs couldn't have been done better, by anyone. Pure food perfection! Thanks for always providing truly...

This food reminds of nursing home food. Very little effort on side dishes except the potato salad. It was amazing. The sausage was pretty good but everything else should have been scraped in the trash. The ribs haz no meat on them and they were as tough as beef jerky. The broker was bland.
