First our order that we ordered wasn’t correct. Male waiter came over, took our order and that’s all he done. He disappeared, didn’t come by and ask if we needed refills which we did after waiting about 30-40 minutes for basically 3 burgers and couple Mexican plates . One of our little 2 year old guest dropped his bottle and it went across the table spilling a glass of root beer across the table. Looking for a waiter or waitress to help with towels or something to wipe up the spilt root beer but none were found. I even stood up looking around and one or two walking around like nothing was wrong. Us 4 adults finally got enough napkins from the holder to soak up the root beer.Still no waiter. We did corner a waitress after we got some of it up. She had a handful of napkins soaked with root beer. Still no one came over to clean our table. Saw a little guy sweeping under tables and wiping tables, finally got his attention to come over. He came over disinfected the table. I gave him a $5.00 tip for cleaning it cause he was the only one that noticed out of all the people working the floor. Basically just taking orders from customers, but not asking if we needed any refills or anything. Then comes the $12.00 burger I ordered. Lettuce wasn’t fresh. You could tell it wasn’t fresh, dry and some wilting. 2 small pickles about the size of a dime. Meat and cheese on a cold bun. Wasn’t worth $12.00 for meat, bread, wilted lettuce and 2 dime size pickles. You’d figure there’d be a tomato and onion. Guess they’re holding down costs. But over charging in my opinion for meat, bread, 2 dime size pickles and wilted lettuce. This and another order of our 4 was completely wrong but my grandson ate it anyway. Still no waiter or waitress asking if everything is okay. Finally they brought a refill for the spilt drink. Set it down but there was no ice in the drink. We had to chase the waiter down to ask for ice for the drink. All and all it wasn’t what I expected being a disabled Veteran. Not worth $83.00 for us 4. I had to flag the waiter down for our check and did tip him $5.00, but tipping him $5 just to take our order and not one assisting their customers (us) wasn’t worth it. I would not recommend due to very poor service, getting an order wrong and a $3.00 burger with only dried lettuce, cold bun, meat and cheese. My fries were small as to other orders.. mine looked like they came from McDonalds ! Again would not recommend this location at the 4:00 time period. Sorry Houligans in my opinion there needs to be training the waiters and waitresses on customer service because your customers...

Review: WORSE THEN FAST FOOD SERVICE. My wife and I went to Hooligans for the first time and had the worst experience. We ordered fish and chips, and a Western Burger with onion rings and to make the meat well done. We got there and got our order which was done in 15 minutes. Paid $24. We drove home hungry and excited to eat out at a new place and when we got home I noticed the bacon on my sandwich was warm but hot, not even cooked at all and just completely disgusted me. I look further and find that the cheese looks old and disgusting as well. I call the manager and let them know, not wanting free food or a refund or anything like that. I inform the manager that if someone asks for well done meat they expect the bacon, that is meat to be well done as well. And it completely disgusted me. So he goes on to give me excuses about how some people prefer certain proteins cooked differently then others. I then stated then the employees should ask specifically, because any normal person who is not a protein freak will expect ALL of the meat on there burger to be well done if that’s what they asked for. He then gave me more excuses and went on to tell me his employees are not trained to do that... he then noticed I am getting upset and offers me another burger for free. Like I want to go through the same mistake again. And he then continues to give me more excuses so I tell him I will just leave a bad review and hung up. And here I am!!!! A manager is supposed to solve problems not start more or try to argue with the customer. Fix the problem. Not argue about it. It’s simple. I am completely dissatisfied and disappointed in their service, management, and food. I would never recommend them again, and I will never ever go to them again unless they give me a full refund and train the staff how to ask a customer what they want and to get it right the first time. Sad. I eat out everyday but not even fast food gives you this bad of service. On top of all that they put the tomatoes, pickles, and lettuce under the paper so you could not see it until you are done with...
Read moreOut of all the eateries I've frequented in Volusia County, Houligan's is by a landslide the most well-run restaraunt in all aspects: Owner Tim Curtis has created a culture where you'll never witness an unhappy employee during your visit. His Staff has fun and their spirit is contagious. I always feel like I eat much more than I'm paying for, and it's usually the opposite in restaurants. And forget being under-staffed, as they are scattered and smothered with TLC to the customer(s). The quality and taste of the food is superior; and it actually seems to taste better because of the extra mile severs like Emily (Port Orange location) go in cleaning, cleaning, cleaning in the midst of juggiing many customers as well. I've been to both the Port Orange and the Ormond Beach location, and the parking lot is always packed, Special shout out on behalf the of server Sarah (Port Orange location and see attached picture), as I'm here to tell you she's worth tracking down as your server, if you're wise enough to check this place out. Some servers have that speical gift of knowing when to leave you alone vs knowing when to check in on you, all whilst having eyes in the back of her head as well ha! Sarah is the bomb! I'm not always the friendliest critic, but folks you will NOT have a bad experience here...Large TVs everywhere, many smiling faces, great food, prompt and...
