I'm not gonna lie. This place is Chicago-bred and Chicago-grown. The minute you walk inside, it screams Chicago pizza joint, and I know this because I live in Chicago. I'm visiting Daytona Beach and just so happens that we found Jojo's from the moment we walked in, we were greeted and seated. We ordered our pizza and our food. The owner came up. Who's a great guy who's from the Chicago land area, And we talked just so happens, we had some stuff in common, and you know what I had to give him a real review, so here it is. In Florida, you don't expect to find good pizza. It's just a fact, almost. But the fact of the matter is Jojo's is probably the closest I've ever had when going to Florida. And I don't mean to say the closest, what I mean to say Is, it's Chicago-style pizza... Real Chicagoans, like thin crust, a lot of the time, deep dish is for the people who were coming to visit Chicago. Now I don't get me wrong, it's a chicago staple in a lot of ways but I will say the thin-crust pizza we had was very good. Very nice and crispy on the crust. The cheese was browned to perfection cut in the perfect little Squares and the sauce had a hint of sweetness, which, in my opinion, is fantastic because it's Reminiscent of a Chicago famous pizza joint called Palermos. If you're from Chicago, you know where it is. It's off of 95th and Cicero, but I will say Jojo's in its own right, has its own very good sauce and very good recipe. And I will say, as a true Chicago native and a resident that this will stand up to Chicago scrutiny. So if you have any type of reservations don't, I would recommend it any day of the week and I will go back the next time I'm in...

Finally I have a place for great Chicago Deep Dish without having to drive for hours. The most authentic taste in miles with a crisp buttery crust and sweet sauce. My only gripe is I wish I could get this in a 12 inch size because it was great.Edit: I think its possible one of my reviews at another place may have rubbed some people the wrong way. Emily Alden (considering it's her only other reviewed restaurant also)is more than likely refering to my review being edited from 2 to 1 stars at another place, and trust me you would rather come here than pay 36$ for something I threw out. Prices are comparable to chains like Giordanos with better quality imo (individual deep dish is practically same price point). Please support this man because he clearly cares...

I was REALLY impressed. Saw the ad this morning and immediately felt like I had to check it out. I ordered a slice of tavern-style thin crust sausage and a slice of DEEP DISH sausage (the cheese!!!) PLUS an Italian Chicago Beef Da Combo which putz an Italian Sausage in the bun wit Da Beef and the Sweet Peppers. As for the au jus, i got mine WET. OMG, I was swept away back to the Windy City. The flavors were SPOT ON.

I devoured everything so QUICKLY that I forgot to take any pics 📸 of the food, but I did take some video of the aftermath.

Intimate little place with about 16 tables...but what they're haulin out of the kitchen is truly worthy of the trip from almost any distance.

I'm definitely coming back for Chicago Dogs...and will get into their...

12-06-24 got my pizza today, and it was everything I needed and more. 12-05-24. Where do I begin?!? So I was raised in Villa Park, IL, and this place reminds me of home! Seriously, I have never had anything close to this in Florida, and I've eaten everywhere. Took the first bite of my Italian beef and almost cried it was so good! I got it dry with juice on the side, with both hot and sweet peppers. (Thursday special comes with fries for $12. You can't beat it.) They have a loyalty program, and if you hurry in, you get $8 off your next order within 30 days! I will be back tomorrow to get a thin crust pizza. Amazing service, thanks, Jody! I'll be bringing friends, just wish I lived closer!
