Debated even taking the time to leave this review, but because of the response from the manager I felt it was necessary. Both myself and my family have ordered from Luigi's on Clyde Morris for YEARS. Probably going on 10 years now. We loved their pizza and ordered regularly. Never, ever, have we had hair in our food. We ordered a couple of months ago and apparently they are under new management. We ordered a large pizza and some wings. BOTH dishes had hair on them. Long hair. We were honestly disgusted and couldn't finish our food. I called and politely asked for a manager. The girl on the phone said "who is this", (super professional). I told her I was a customer. A man came on the phone and I explained what happened and he asked "what would you like me to do?" I told him "nothing, I would like to let you know you have hair going out in your food." I wasn't looking for anything, I wanted them to correct the situation because obviously having TWO separate orders with hair on them is a problem. Unsanitary. He told me "all of our employees wear hair nets." apparently disputing what I said. Well, just a side note, the girl at the front does NOT wear a hair net. She has long hair and opens each box when you pick up your order and looks in each box. FYI... all of your employees DO NOT WEAR hair nets. It's gross, we don't want hair...
Read moreRecently went there for their great pizza, however, a section of the dining area looked like a daycare with a crib, car seat & baby blankets draped over a dining table and an infant who appeared to belong to one of the waitresses. That same waitress got up & waited on me at the counter. She was extremely unfriendly (same waitress that I’ve tipped quite generously on several occasions) perhaps she wasn’t happy that my business took her away from sitting in dining area with her baby, nonetheless she acted as though she was doing me a favor by taking my money. If it weren’t for that unpleasant experience that made my visit unenjoyable, I would have rated higher! Amendment: Owner response was that of a defensive posture. It’s not so much the family babysitting going on in the extremely small dining area that led to my low rating but more so the poor, unfriendly customer service that I received from who I guess to the mother of the baby & the daughter of the owner. Otherwise I wouldn’t guess that he would allow just a non-family waitress to bring their child to work. Read moreVery disappointed in this order. The chicken wings where over cooked and had no good flavors. Herbs in the oil (not good oil)tasted stale defiantly not fresh. They are overly oily and I didn't even opt to add the cup of oil. I didn't order onions in my stromboli...but I got some not to my liking. The food just didn't taste great. Made me sick to my stomach. Also just as an added note. When I walked into pizzeria it was very quiet (other than the workers talking about orders). I was glad we hadn't opted to eat in. It looked like people defiantly where not enjoying themselves.
