McDonald's — Restaurant in Port Orange

The employees, in my many(I am a mother to 3TEENAGE BOYS & "ADOPTED" SEVERAL of their CLOSEST LONGTIME & neighborhood friends!) experiences, have ALWAYS been FRIENDLY, HELP, PRETTY QUICK WITH EVERYTHING EVEN THOUGH YOU NEVER FEEL RUSHED WHEN ORDERING(it DOES HELP that THIS LOCATION has 2 SEPARATE LANES with SPEAKERS FOR ORDERING😁)EVEN when NONE of the 5-7 TEENS in your car KNOW WHAT they WANT, EVEN AFTER WAITING APPROXIMATELY 3-4 MINUTES(not to mention, EVERYONE HAS BEEN HERE PROBABLY COUNTLESS TIMES, a MENU that MOST, if not ANYONE/ EVERYONE COULD RECITE FROM MEMORY BY 4 YEARS OLD !!) BEFORE the NICE, PATIENT SOUNDING VOICE on the other end of the speaker KINDLY ASKS YOU IF YOU'RE"Ready to order?" and, recklessly (I GUESS), I answer "Yes, Thanks 😊..... Please get me(order mine, my husband's and if I have a friend with ME, her order. Then.....)after placing 2-3 ADULTS ORDERS, MY SONS & their girlfriend (s)/friends "who JUST SO HAPPEN TO BE A GIRL!"/kids I TREAT & CARE ABOUT LIKE THEY'RE MINE/whoever is riding with us, have JUST ABOUT ALL either CAN'T DECIDE, WANTS TO KNOW WHAT COMES ON &/OR WITH WHATEVER BEFORE HEMMING & HAWING ON THEIR DECISION, "GEEEZZZ, I'VE TOLD YOU LIKE A MILLION TIMES ALREADY SO YOU SHOULD KNOW!!", "MOOOMM! YOU SHOULD KNOW WHAT I WANT BY NOW, UGH!", OR JUST "FORGOT, HOLD ON A MINUTE, I GOT IT...", ETC.!! OK, NOW McD's in Daytona, the employees also are REALLY GOOD AT REMEMBERING YOU 🙂! I think 🤔 THAT IS REALLY NICE, ESPECIALLY when, most of the time, I feel invisible! ALWAYS ASKS IF YOU "Need ANYTHING ELSE, extra sauces, or any condiments??" AND I ALWAYS HAVE PLENTY OF NAPKINS!! I NEVER have needed or asked to "Wait up ahead in a space, it's going to be a few more minutes on the remainder of my order!" and then you REALLY SPEND 10-15MINS WAITING IN "THAT SPACE"! SO the REASON YOU WANTED TO GO TO A "FAST FOOD DRIVE-THRU" ENDS UP BEING A...

I come to this McDonald's all the time-this morning I decided to get breakfast I got the number six with a medium caramel iced macchiato... When I received the coffee I told the two people working the drive-thru that they didn't give me a macchiato.... When I just asked them to make me macchiato this is what I got .. both employees just looked at me dumbfounded.... I'm posting pictures on here for reference of what the macchiato is supposed to look like and what I received and when I asked the employees they didn't even want to lift a finger to help or fix this which would have been done in like 1 minute if they just acknowledge that they messed up..... I'm writing this review because I do believe the employees in the morning shift need to be retrained on how to make coffee. For reference it was a younger Hispanic male and a middle-aged black woman with short braids/dreads and both very clearly didn't want to fix this issue so I just drove off..... When you come to McDonald's for a very simple breakfast on your way to work and you really need that coffee and you're actually paying more for the macchiato as well. I posted the receipt and the pictures. Please please retrain your morning staff on how to make proper coffee. I also posted of what a macchiato is supposed...

If I could give this sorry excuse of a “FAST food” restaurant zero stars, I would. Instead of going to a sit down restaurant, I decided to get some food to go because my family and I were watching the Florida-Auburn Final Four Basketball game. So we wanted something quick. I pulled to the drive through lane and there’s no one there. I give my order and go to the window to pay. So far, so good. When I get to the window to pick up my order, the 13 year old girl that they had on the window tells me to park because (and this is a direct quote), “We’re starting to cook the meat and the nuggets.” So I pulled into one of their designated parking spots to wait. After 15 minutes, I went in to ask about my order and another girl tells me “we’re making it right now.” I went back to my car, and after 7 more minutes and walked back in with my drinks and asked for new ones as the ones I had were watered down due to the ice completely melting. I get new drink and 5 minutes later they bring my order. So, my “fast food” order took 27 minutes. No apologies or even an acknowledgement of the absurd, crap service.
