Where do I start? I ordered food on the app that was suggested on their own website. I called the restaurant 20mins later and asked about how long will it take for my order to be ready. They told me it was ready and I could come pick it up. I get there and wait behind 5 people which is just fine I can see they are busy. I waited my turn. 20 mins later it was my turn she asked for my phone number I gave it to her. She said "I can't find it" I repeated my number, she still couldn't find it. She came back 5 mins later asked what I ordered. I told her. She came back 5 mins later she said she can't find it and she told me she would have to make everything from scratch. At this point I had put my order in an hour ago, but ok fine. Then she comes back with all the recipts from the app asking me what my total was I told her. She couldn't find it. I tried to show her my confirmed order on my phone and she said "I can't look at the phone, bad eyes". Then she went back through all the recipts I found my order and told her. She the said " you told me the wrong number" even though she wrote down the right number, the recipt had the right number but still blamed me that I was wrong. She came back everything but one of my items and she said "they are making your last thing now" I then asked "does everything have no onions? We have a food allergy" she proceeded to say :what do you meen?" I said "per my order ON my recipt it says no onion!" She opened everything and tried to show me there was no onion. Yet 3 of my items still had oinion in them. I said "I need these to be made with no onion" she brought 2 of the items and said "now there is no onion and we can't make the third thing because it has to have onion" I said "fine". She said "can't do special orders when it is too busy" she only took off the one item I didn't get. So I paid and didn't tip, she said " no tip?" I said "no". I came home one item that she argued with me had no onions still had onions. Second item they pulled only the fresh onions off the top but didn't really make it, there was onions still mixed in to the food. All of my food was Luke warm. Read moreWhile in a nice location looking over the water and on a clean restaurant, I still can’t give more than that for stars for this location. From start to finish I had no idea what was going on with our server. She rushed around like the place would fall down if she didn’t run. This meant that we had no water/tea for a good 15 minutes or any silverware. I was under the impression they had just cleared the table but does that mean we can’t get any service after that? The speeding also made her almost even bring someone else’s whole order to us!
The tea, when it did come out, was overall unpleasant. I love teas and prefer strong tea but this pretty much felt like it wanted to be strong but just failed at the end of it. When we did get our food, it was cold and bland with the only flavors coming from the sauces they were in. The rice was decent but kind of dry from sitting out perhaps.
And, though petty I admit, I didn’t even get to see our server for a good chuck of our meal to ask for more water.
On top of that, the whole place had tables where nothing had been taken back for cleaning at all, which surprisingly was just fine since not enough people were out to eat there, and the bathrooms were dirty.
And I noticed at the end our server was berating another server over her just wanting to cash us out. This same server was our greeter and had told us it would be a moment to be seated, which was fine and the was told off by our own server to just seat us at the table that didn’t have anything on it. Our first introduction of our own server was basically “oh, you don’t have any silverware”. Where she went off to grab that.
If our server had just let us wait a few moments, we would have but had that issue at all.
TL;DR - Cleanliness was poor, service was nearly nonexistent, food was tasteless and our server was not a team player. We promise we will not be...

I showed up and was told it would be about 15 minutes. Not once or twice, but five more times I was asked if I was there to dine in or to go. I .their defense I was standing in a group of 7 people all waiting on to-go orders placed over 45 minutes earlier. After 40 minutes passed my name was called, I got ready to pay and was told he was just making sure I was still there...yeah alot of people flat out left because of the terribly slow service. I asked if I would receive a discount for my trouble and was told they would have to ask. The greeter came back up and said the person that could make that decision WOULD NOT come up front to talk to me, and also WOULD NOT give me a discount because, his words "they were busy". Well "Golden Grill on the Bay" you have lost my business FOREVER! Furthermore I will tell anyone and everyone I can a out how terribly slow your service is and how poorly you treat your customers. Also I'm gonna report your false adeadvertisment to the better business bureau. Hopefully you get shut down.
