I'm at a loss for words? How do you *properly* describe euphoria encapsulated in sandwich form? How do you describe the epitome of an unctuous transcendent meal? I'm not sure how but I'll try! Husbeast & I are trying to go out on mini dates now that I'm recovering well post Irish Twins! I got my weekly massage then we took a jaunt downtown Port Orchard. We happened upon Brickhouse 714, the wafting scents of awesome + family friendly signs drew us in. We sat ourselves and immediately were given our sodas. It was hard to decide as we had a relatively tight budget but bigger than expected appetite! Skipping the appetizer we decided on the Pulled pork sandwich for me & the Bleu Cheese burger for Husbeast. They were out on our table in a flash. Piping hot & smelling like ambrosia DIRECT from Mt. Olympus' kitchen. Bleu Cheese burger w/ tater tots & ranch: BONKERS BANANAS DELICIOUS, perfectly juicy burger stuffed with Bleu Cheese & a sauce with sweet caramelized onions, making each bite better than the last. In fact husbeast paused to save the last burger bite to use the tater tots to scoop up the sauce/onions. Pulled pork sandwich w/ fries & ranch: OH. MY. GODS. Tender, juicy, unctuous, salty with a hint of sweet & vinegary that leaves your tongue tingling with joy and a hint of heated spice! The ciabatta bun held up to the saucy perfection and the fries were beyond what I could fit here. Our 7 mo old scree'd in delight upon happily gnawing away at the fries and was overjoyed to have a taste of pulled pork! She ALSO got to try some Bleu Cheese & seemed to face her 1st existential crisis for which was the best! Further info: Family friendly atmosphere Outdoor seating w/optional leg blankets to keep you snuggly even if it's less than ideal outdoor seating weather!! The wait staff was polite, kind, prompt & fast AF! Even with an ever increasing amount of people trickling in for the dinner rush.

Ahhh, so you are in Port Orchard, the lovely town I grew up in, and you are looking for some food? Well, good luck because Port Orchard really doesn’t have that many options… but what I will always recommend you is the Brickhouse. The Brickhouse is that place that isn’t amazing, but isn’t really bad either. A long time ago it use to be called MoonDogsToo but then they closed and Brickhouse took over. The employees are nice, and they do serve you if you are indoors or outside. A common trend I notice every time is that the service is just ok. Many times I have seen them slightly overwhelmed and say that things are taking a little bit. So for this reason they prefer you to come to the counter and place orders/pick up your own drinks/ etc. This isn’t exactly bad though because the Brickhouse has this dive-bar-esk to it. And truthfully it’s not a place I would expect great service? (I’m saying that in a way I don’t mean to offend). The food is always reliable. The menu use to be way bigger and some of my favorite items like the Chicken Pot Pie has been removed for awhile. Prime rib Dip is always a good choice. The sides and apps are where the Brickhouse shines. I didn’t get any on my recent visit but the Twisted fries are SOOO good. Be sure to get some and checkout the live music… Perfect Segway….the Brickhouse has live music. That is one of the best reasons to come to this place. If it’s a family outing, late night with the boys, or date with the wifey it helps bring some fun to your life. My conclusion is the Brickhouse is a good choice! I’m giving three stars because it’s a Hometown Restaurant and I know it has more potential. Places like this need to be the best versions of their self to help attract more people. Like I said it’s reliable. - Colter

My daughter and I had lunch here and it was our first time. Our server Erica was on point with our drink, order and overall service. I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger and my daughter ordered the classic burger both with fries. We have dined in at other local owned restaurants before and by far this was the best we had. When I say it truly is! Our burgers were made PERFECT it wasn’t under cooked nor was it overcooked it was JUICY. My 10 year old isn’t a picky eater but she is also a burger type girl. I have seen her eat a few bites of burger but this right here at this restaurant she only had maybe 2 bites left. She asked me if she can talk to the cook that made our burgers so she can THANK HIM! She said we always see the waiters but never the people that make our food and they should be someone we Thank as well! We met with Pete the cook! She was excited to Thank him for our AWESOME COOKED BURGERS AND FRIES! Thank you Erica and Pete!!! You both made our first experience AWESOME 😊

We went on Tuesday since it was with every adult is a free kids meal. The sign said we can see ourselves, which is what we did and grab some menus. Our server was a superstar! She immediately greeted us, got her drinks, even asked for a lid for all of my three kids, which was very appreciative. The table was clean as well when we got there! We ordered the kids meals, which were two cheeseburgers, one chicken tenders, all with applesauce, and my goodness those cheeseburgers are massive and delicious looking! The chicken tenders came with two TENDIES

They do have keto options! Which was a huge hit for me. I was very impressed on how my burger came out since usually other places put it in a bowl with lettuce, tomato and it’s just thrown in there. They brought out this gorgeous black rectangular plate I ordered a side Caesar, which was plated beautifully on there my burger on a bed of lettuce it was just so pretty and well presented. I was very grateful. My husband ordered a burger, which he thought was absolutely delicious and also ordered a side Caesar salad salad. The salad was just so fresh and had crunchy croutons on top.

Our server was very attentive, always checking on us appropriately and it was a fantastic night! We will definitely be coming back. I feel like the service has gotten better here and the food...
