Big Apple Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Port Saint Lucie

I give up. I love their pizza but they tank when it gets busy. I called and asked when I could expect my order 20 minutes passed the time I was told I'd receive it and they hadn't even started it and couldn't tell me when it would even be done. And the girl that answered my call was short with me, rude, and hung up on me. So much for customer service! This will be the last time I ever order from them. Unreal. The Jensen Beach location is pretty great though. So if you really want Big Apple pizza, go to that location. Because Bayshore is terrible. And its not the first time they've done this to me. I'd tried to be understanding. Sometimes people have a bad night. I was wrong. Every night for this location is bad apparently. Update: Their driver delivered my order to the wrong house. It took almost 3 hours for me to finally get my food. The manager apologized, threw in a bunch of extras for free, and got us our dinner hot and it was good but it had pretty much ruined our whole evening by that point. I've worked in the food industry enough to know that people make mistakes and it really sucks when you are slammed on a busy Friday night. They did what they could to make it right but still. When you are crazy busy and everything is going wrong, customer service is a part of what keeps you from loosing your customers. The drivers excuse for getting the wrong address was that he delivers to them all the time so he just assumed it was that house when he got into our neighborhood. NO. You check the address so you get it right. The people answering the restaurant house phone are the voice of the restaurant. You represent the business. So when someone calls because their upset about their order, you can't be rude and short with them and make them feel bad for complaining. That isn't how you keep them as customers. The manager was the nicest and most professional of everyone I spoke to there. So I commend him for that. The rest of the crew needs a coaching lesson on customer service and how to deal with a stressful night. Im undecided if ill go back. Before anyone reading this thinks I'm some entitled b**h. I work at an above ground mine. We supply construction company's with materials they need to do what they do. Like roadbase which goes under asphalt when you pave a road. Im up at 5am to leave by 6am to be there by 7am. I work 10.5 hours and am lucky to be home by quarter after 6pm. I have shared custody of my daughter and because I had a covid scare at my work I haven't seen my daughter for a few weeks. I was just getting her back for the first time that night. I know she likes big apple pizza so I wanted to get what she liked. And after a long week I was just too tired to cook. That is why these restaurant businesses, especially ones that deliver, are so important to our community. Sometimes they are who is keeping someone going. And that is why the whole ordeal was...

Outstanding pizza!!! Their pizza sauce is fantastic!!! Their staff is very Professional and they enjoy working there. One of the best pizzas in this area.

Update** I got the Sausage n Cheese Pizza today!!! One of the best pizzas' ever....If you want a great Pizza, You need to come here on BayShore!!!!

I have read a lot of the reviews....People, you are not ordering from a national low value pizza here. Quality ingredients takes time, quantity does not. Big Apple Pizza is a Very High Quality Pizza....It takes time for this, appreciate the outstanding people that work there. Appreciate that the local owner who pays their local employees vice a celebrity star that would never eat a pizza from the chain that they endorse....

Update.....Of All the local Pizza Restaurants, Big Apple Pizza on BayShore is by far one of the best locally!!! I manage the Invincibles Paintball Park here in PSL....Of all the local Pizza places, they by far exceed all the other local n big chain Pizza places. We use them exclusively..... All of my Paintball Party Groups say this is one of the best they have had!!! If you are locally, Visit them on BayShore Blvd....Ask for Justin!!!!

Update!!!! I came in after work. They had a margarita pizza there....It smelt so good....I had to order one....OMG.....Past Amazing!!!!

Attention Port Saint Lucie and any local.....You have got to come here and try their Stromboli.....Past Mind Blowing!!!!!! A 100 out of 10 Stars Reviews.....Ask for Chris!!!!

Just got the "The Works" pizza tonight.. Wow!!!! ...

Every restaurant has a story, as much of one as the people who choose to work there do. While some faces may come and go, ultimately the story of that restaurant is the culmination of their collective efforts. Luckily for us, here in Port Saint Lucie, Big Apple Pizza and Pasta has a story of hard work and quality food worth sharing.

I've been enjoying going to and picking up from this location for nearly 7 years now. Every time I visit, it's always the same couple faces there, which is a comfort since they know what they're doing and consistently do it well. I've been to my fair share of Pizza places but I always find myself coming back here, or wishing I could when I leave our city for a while. They're friendly, appreciative, and, most importantly, the food is always great.

On occasion when I've dined in, I've been treated to some of the most lovely servers you'll ever meet. Most recently, one of the newer members to the team, a plucky energetic young woman named Hailey, made my visit even more special. She reminds me of myself and why I entered the business and I admire the different ways others will approach our role in hospitality, and will inwardly scorn when a poor job is done. After all, restaurants are a collaborative process between the front and back of house. I believe that no one will return to a place with good food and bad service, but may very well indeed return to a place with great service and mediocre food. Which is why bringing your best personality and charm front and center is so important and nobody does it better than Hailey.

Like always, I'll be back soon, hungry for more. I know that the regulars who come and go on a first name basis with the staff will far outlast my someday final visit to this, my favorite pizza establishment, and that the familiar faces behind the counter will outlast even them. This is their job, their business, their life. It's their story and I'll always be glad to have been...
