Sadly I was extremely disappointed and we can start that I spent 19$ on the lunch deal which is 2 slices of pizza and a drink and I ordered a antipasto salad on the side with extra dressing. I’m not certain if it was because the pizza was sitting on the counter far too long before preheated or if like everyone else the quality of ingredients are depleting due to increase of prices. The sauce had absolutely no taste and the cheese was chunky and overly chewy, but also was very bland. The crust was okay but was very very thin for a New York style pizza which is all what makes me think maybe the shift was due to ingredients and not necessarily effort.
My second complaint was the salad. I would say maybe 30% of the lettuce was brown or starting to brown and the entire salad was very very wet. They definitely put about half has many pepperonis (literally gave me 8 small pepperonis for a large salad) as they used to. I understand that products are down but maybe increase the price a little because this was extremely disappointing. I’d rather spend maybe 2-3$ more and get better quality than being mad I spent $20. I couldn’t even just take the cheese off the pizza and eat it, which is what I usually do in this sort of case. I’m disappointed. I don’t like making negative reviews, but this is more so the owner knows the level of his service in case they weren’t aware. I left photos of the thinness of the pizza, the lack of meat and the wet/browning lettuce for reference.
I gave them 2 stars because the cashier was nice, the store seems clean and I don’t think it’s intentional bad service. If seen I would love to discuss how my opinion can be fixed or maybe get another order/refund. Thanks.
Well 8 months later. Second opinion. I got a calzone/Stromboli this time around and the ends were so hard I could even bite into them. The oddest part is the bottom was soggy. I ended up throwing it away as I was a little worried with how it looked when I decided to open the calzone. Dough doesn’t look cooked but somehow the outside is rock hard. The meat inside is sliced so thin, and I’m assuming that’s so they can save money and still charge you 8$. Never again. I let the snake bite my hand for the second time and it’s the last time! It’s now officially 1...
Read moreI order from here usually at least once a month sometimes more or less. The food is decent (which is why I continue ordering) but it seems almost everytime I order delivery I end up with some type of problem whether it be my order taking well over the quoted time to get delivered, the food being wrong or certain food items being forgotten. But despite that I still continued to order because we enjoy the food. Tonight I placed an order online for delivery, shows my total is 35.79 ok cool, driver comes and she says ok your total is 38.79, I said no it said 35 and I show her my confirmation email. She proceeds to tell me they are now charging a $3 delivery fee, that's fine and all but that's not what the website says. I call the store and speak to someone who tells me that's their new policy, well update your website and I'll gladly pay it, until then I will give you the 35.79 I was told when I placed the order. The man said fine I will update the website. I gave the driver the original amount plus a tip for her, I really hope the owners don't screw her over and try to take the $3 fee from her tip. This will likely be the last time I order from here sadly, they just can't seem to get it together when it comes to delivery and that's what is most...
Read moreI made an online order on 9/6/2020. I was told the order would be ready at 7:03pm I got to the restaurant at 7:05pm, paid for my order and was told it would be another 5 mins. I waited and waited and waited. While waiting 2 other online customers came in and were given their food right away. The guy said to me sorry for the wait, your order is coming right up. I waited some more. Finally, after waiting approximately 30 mins for food that should've already been prepared since I ordered online, my food was finally presented to me, with the only explanation being, "we got backed up." No they didn't, what I believe happened is they didn't start my order until I arrived. No attempt to even rectify the situation. I will never order from the SW Port St Lucie Blvd location again. To add insult to injury, the baked ziti was not even good (my husband complained so bad, and he is not picky), the fettuccine alfredo lacked salt, and the garlic knots had an obscene amount of raw garlic on them, which was very unpleasant...
