The restaurant is clean and the food is delicious, but our experience was completely ruined by one waitress, a Brazilian woman with gold and pink glasses, who was rude, dismissive, and clearly unhappy to be there.
We went to celebrate my husband on Veterans Day, and what should have been a pleasant family dinner turned into a frustrating experience. Our group of five ordered separately, yet all the sushi was brought out together on the same plates, leaving us unsure which rolls belonged to whom. When we asked for clarification, the waitress gave us attitude instead of help.
My eight year old daughter was excited to have sushi, since she eats it all the time !! but the waitress’s attitude made the moment uncomfortable. She repeatedly tried to steer her toward chicken and fries, speaking in a way that felt dismissive and almost annoyed that a child would choose sushi. When I politely asked about the missing hand rolls, she responded sharply with “It’s coming,” in a rude, impatient tone that made it clear she had no interest in providing good service.
To make things worse, the Tuesday Kids Eat Free promotion on their website was ignored …. And the 20 percent Veterans discount was not applied. I had to call her over four times to get the bill, and she ignored me each time until she finally had another waitress bring it. When we finally received the check, an automatic 18 percent tip had been added over 40 dollars for service that was anything but deserving. The manager was told we were not happy with the service and didn’t want to pay that much tip … but never came to our table or showed any concern. They removed the tip, but by then the damage was done.
We spent more than 250 dollars and were treated rudely and with complete disregard. We were polite and patient the entire time, yet the waitress made us feel unwelcome. The food was very good, but the service was unacceptable. When management allows that kind of behavior toward customers, it leaves a bad impression and makes you not want to return.
We order many items we did not get and at the end she put them in to the kitchen .. horrible experience we won’t come back please see all my reviews 99% are positive this is an...
Read moreFor a new space, they really don't have their system down pact. Forgetting lots and lots of food items at every table and servers ordering the wrong items for all the tables. My husband loves sushi and I came to try the hot meals. The Gyoza(fried dumplings) were barely warm, almost room temperature. Sent it back because they just didn't taste fresh at all. We got our food and no drinks even after twenty minutes of having food. We had to stop a server and ask for drinks. Then I had the chicken fried rice hot plate. The chicken was extremely dry and tasteless. The rice was also tasteless. I had to dump soy sauce on the rice to even get it to have some flavor. The desserts were okay and worth the price with the unlimited. My husband did enjoy all the sushi pieces he ordered and felt as though he got his money worth with that. We just unfortunately just had to keep reminding them of forgotten plates. Their services were good in the sense that they apologized, listened, and respected when someone told them that they were missing things or incorrect food. The table next to us was here for an hour and they wanted their check and complained about half the food being wrong, or missing, they also complained about the tasteless rice. The table across from us was seated at the same time as my husband and I, and they left after just having drinks due to the long wait time and wrong items being served to them. If you like sushi, and plan to eat a lot of that, highly recommend if you have the patience to make sure they bring you the correct items. Before we left we waited 45 minutes for a single sushi roll despite being checked on four times...

I wish I could comment on the food, but we never even got that far. We made an 8:30 PM reservation for 2 and arrived 5 minutes early. We weren’t acknowledged by the front of house until around 8:32 PM. Another couple came in about 5 minutes after us and they were told there’d be a 20 minute wait and to come back later.
Our reservation was confirmed, and we were told they were just cleaning the tables. 15 minutes later, we were still waiting and asked to wait another 10 minutes with no explanation. Shortly after, the same couple returned and were told to wait 10 minutes as well. A few minutes later, somehow, they were seated before us. Even with a confirmed reservation, we were still waiting, with several empty tables in view.
We waited to see if the host was going to come back after she sat them, but she never did. We were willing to wait until 9 PM, but after that, we decided to leave. I understand this is a new location, but this isn’t a new business, they have other branches, and proper training and customer handling should already be in place. The food and interior looked promising, but before anyone can enjoy the food, guests need to feel acknowledged and respected from the moment they walk in.
We’re big sushi fans and often go to AYCE spots, we would’ve loved to become regulars here. Unfortunately, after this experience, we won’t be returning.
Tip: Don’t bother making a reservation; it doesn’t seem to make a difference here. We’ve made reservations at many other places but this was by far the worst handling we’ve...
