Kava Kat — Restaurant in Port Saint Lucie

They seem like really nice people so I don't want to bring down their rating however, I feel like I should speak up. Kava/kratom...may be legal and natural. I've done both and have no issues with either. I agree they are much better alternatives to alcohol and drugs. But regardless...they achieve the same effect...Intoxication...no matter what you call it...it's a bar and children don't belong in bars! At least not after 9pm! This is why bars don't allow minors after the kitchen closes! Unfortunately, for my daughter who is only 7y/o, the law doesn't apply to this kind of establishment. They aren't considered a bar therefore, when my ex brings my daughter with him, she is often there far later than she should be. They could act responsibly and implement the policy that bar owners do....but they don't. I understand that parents should be responsible and act appropriately however, this isn't always the case. I would appreciate a change in this policy. Minors do not belong in bars or surrounded by intoxicated people at all ..let alone at 10-11 pm. It's common sense! Love this place. I DJ the drag show here an other events an the staff are a great group of people. Friendly staff They make you feel like family. Great place to un wind from a hard day or you can go there to study an get inspiration for any project you might be working on. Great place to meet great locals an up an coming musicians in the area as well. I would recommend this place to hang n chill n meet great people. All positive people an no bad karma. I have been coming to Kava Kat for three and a half years. Morgan, Jenn, Nik, and Sean have become family. Kava Kat is like the "Island of Misfit Toys". Everyone at Kava Kat has a story and no one is judged! One of my favorite things about Kava Kat is all the different people with different backgrounds coming to one place, coming together, and being kind to one another.

I have a very special friendship with Jenn and Morgan. Kava Kat has given me confidence to be comfortable in my own skin and to always be myself. They have given me the gif of self-love and worth and I will be forever grateful to them!
