Tacos and Beer — Restaurant in Port Saint Lucie

Been going there for almost 3 years!! I will NOT be going back, the food is AMAZING but the service went DOWNHILL. I ordered take out, the place is 20 mins away, usually I get tacos, Mexican style. My fiancee ordered the burrito with chorizo no onions and peppers. I get home from picking it up, it wasn't really busy when I got there. I get home and my fiancee opens the burrito to find that It was a greasy mess and has exactly what she didn't want in it. So I call and let them know of their mistake and drive back to get it remade. They compensate me with 3 Mexican tacos instead of making a new burrito. I get home and my fiancee notices that the compensated tacos are made with the meat from the burrito because she noticed RICE in the tacos which are supposed to be only cilantro, meat and diced onion. As a cook, you never should reuse the meat from a messed up order and serve it back to the customer as new food or food thats compensated for a mistake. It was DISRESPECTFUL and WRONG of the place to treat me like that. What if she was allergic to what was in the original burrito?! Reusing the food and calling it a new order is just lazy, wrong and disrespectful to the customers. I go here all the time and the food is good. I came today and got a burrito, when I got there to pick it up I added queso to my order. When I went to pay I asked for two extra hot and one green hot. When it was time to leave I asked for another extra hot because she only gave me one and two green hot. She got an attitude looking up at the menu saying “well next time it’s going to be 75 cents” which isn’t an issue I have no problem paying, the problem is she gave me an attitude for asking for what I wanted. She’s the one who gave me the wrong sauces to begin with. Then when I got back and sat down to eat I realized the queso spilled everywhere because the lid wasn’t on correctly. And I only walked a little down the plaza to go eat, I didn’t get in my car and the bag was flying everywhere. And I know if I go back she’ll make me pay for a whole new queso even though she’s the one that didn’t put the lid on all the way, so I’d just rather not deal with it. I recently ordered $90 worth of tacos, chips, and queso from Tacos and Beer, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Upon picking up my order, I was dismayed to find that the chips were soggy and drenched in cheese, rendering them practically inedible.

When I called to request that the chips and cheese be provided separately, I was met with unnecessary questioning and skepticism upon returning to the restaurant to pick up the corrected order. The Owner disrespectful attitude and lack of professionalism left me feeling extremely disrespected as a customer.

Moreover, instead of acknowledging their mistake and providing proper customer service, the employee rolled her eyes and displayed a complete lack of concern for my dissatisfaction. It's disappointing to encounter such poor service, especially when it comes to something as simple as ensuring the quality of chips and cheese.
