This commissary kitchen is a space for multiple delicious food vendors on a rotating calendar. Links to the vendors can be found on the Lila's Kitchen website or Facebook page. Incredibly creative and delicious food comes out of two different takeout windows that allows up to two vendors to operate at the same time. Food can be pre-ordered through each vendor or purchased on site. There is tent seating or you can carry your food over to the neighboring brewery's beer garden. Lila's Kitchen allows extremely creative restaurateurs an opportunity to try their ideas without the need to heavily invest in their own brick and mortar locations. The various vendors offer unique food that can sometimes not be found elsewhere in town. I'm excited to see what else happens at Lila's Kitchen. Read moreLila's is a shared kitchen located in the back of a commercial warehouse development. It can be very hard to find on your first visit, especially since their facia is currently blocked with a large tent. I found the menus of each place on their own Instagram/FB pages, but could not located them on Lila's webpage. Odd. Hopefully they will add them so you don't have to go to several places to see what food options there are.

Read moreEverything we have eaten at Lila’s Kitchen has been delicious so far…but today The Friendly Nettle absolutely nailed it! We had the Ethiopian style beef Shepherd’s Pie, the Curry Chicken Shepherd’s pie, and the fried chicken with spicy yassa sauce. Holy smokes 😍. This was hands down one of the best meals I have had in a long time. The fried chicken was juicy and flavorful on its own…but the yassa sauce was the cherry on top! I am a huge fan of shepherd’s pie…and these did not disappoint. This is not your average meal, this food is clearly made with love and consideration. In addition, the service lived up to their name and was friendly indeed. Don’t pass up the opportunity to snag a plate...
