Atmosphere was great, staff was super friendly, really great! The beer left something to be desired, got a flight, and each beer was flawed. All of the beers, including the scotch ale and amber ale, which are supposed to be on the sweeter side, were either over boiled or under fermented, resulting in a cloyingly sweet taste. The two IPAs in our flight were ok, the abundant hops clearly helped balance the sweetness that was still ever-present. The scotch ale also had another off flavor, slightly metallic, which is a common issue in brewing, sometimes related to the water chemistry. All of the building blocks of a great brewery are there but the final product needs some adjustment. I hope these comments help the brew staff adjust and recalibrate!
