I wanted Mexican food for my treat meal. We decided on El Ranchito because we hadn't eaten there in a while. Although it was after 5, we had no problem being seated immediately. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing. We were seated in a cozy booth. The decor was nice - walls decorated with colorful traditional ceramics and stained glass (? I can't quite remember). I was in the mood for a giant Margarita with a salted rim. It was giant! Note to self: get a smaller one next time. I was barely able to finish half of it. The chips and salsas were fresh and tasty. For dinner I ordered the pollo ranchito. The dish was comprised of two generous portions of chicken breast covered in a sauce of cheese, mushrooms, tomatoes and onions, with a side of rice and beans. As delicious as it was, I could barely finish the breast. I'm so grateful that Mr. V polished off the rest! He had a steak dish. Indont remember the name, but it must have been tasty because his plate was clean. A particular highlight of our evening was me using my very basic Spanish to speak with the wait staff. So, not only did they speak to the husband, but they engaged me as well. Thank you ladies! Now I'm more determined to become more fluent in speaking Spanish. All in all, we had a great evening!

I love this place. The Texas rice bowl is my go-to favorite. I usually order it from door dash and it is still fresh and made with the customer in mind. I have came in for takeout and was greeted nicely and food did not take long to be prepared. The mild salsa is not spicy at all which I like because I cannot handle too much heat. The queso is delicious and they give you complimentary chips and salsa in your takeout order as well. The Texas rice has a layer of queso on top that makes it perfect! Did I say it was favorite?? You won’t be disappointed.

This was a good place to eat. The food was delicious. My boyfriend is a chef and he commented about how good the food was. The service was pretty good. My boyfriend did run out of water once, but in a few minutes it was refilled. We had my son with us. He is in a wheelchair. I was a little worried about getting him in the restaurant because the entrance is curvy and narrow, but we made it through and they say is at a table where we could pull a seat out so he could sit at the table with us. Really nice environment.

We were in Savannah for just one night and wanted a sit-down restaurant close to our hotel. El Ranchito was the perfect choice! We ate early, so it wasn’t busy, and the service was absolutely top-notch.

The friendly waitresses got us seated quickly and had our kids’ meals out in minutes, which was such a relief after a long day. The portions were generous, and the complimentary chips and salsa came with a bean dip too—a nice touch! Our kids loved their meals, and the tacos and soup we ordered were excellent. I did like the ground beef taco a little better than the chicken. The fresh avocado was great too!

I also tried the $2.95 Monday margarita special and was pleasantly surprised by how large it was for the price! For a family of four, including two margaritas, our total was under $50 before tip. Incredible value for a meal like this.

The service stood out—they kept our waters refilled and brought our check and boxes right away when we were ready to leave. They even had Christmas movies playing, which made it extra fun for the kids. If you’re in Savannah, this is a fantastic spot for a casual, affordable, and...

I ordered a Taco salad fajita shrimp. you would think it would be fresh when you get it, but it seems like it was sitting there for a while, the bottom was soggy and falling apart nothing fresh about it. The website provides a box for "special instructions" when you order certain items...well, they totally ignore that. I requested NO Sour cream on the salad, Nope...it was drowned with sour cream. Their website advertise chicken wings, 8 or 10 count. When I received my order, no wings...I called and they say they don't have chicken wings...they told me to call Door Dash to get my refund, REALLY?!! And as for the Chili Rellano, stuffed with plain ground meat with no cheese no spices and no taste, and topped it with tomato sauce like it was going to save that. Its like WOW...learn my lession, no more ordering from this restaurant. They really need to update their website, don't advertise something you...
